The Annexe at Moorside Farmhouse, near Harrogate.

ENTIRE HOME Moorside Farmhouse Annexe - a self-contained living space within a residential farmhouse, with kitchen/dining area on ground floor and upstairs to double bedroom, living room (with extra beds if required), shower and w/c. Private access to gardens, grounds, driveway and storage facilities. Rural location between Harrogate and Otley with extensive views over surrounding fields and hills. Close to Stainburn Forest on the edge of Nidderdale AONB and perfect for touring Yorkshire. The space Safe parking and garage is available to guests. There is also room to store cycles and other items not needed in the house. The house is accessed from the B6161 by a 200 metre driveway shared with the farm. We also have extra space and facilities in our barn which guests are welcome to use. There is a pool table, dart board, comfortable seating, music centre, drinks fridge etc which make up a convivial indoor recreation facility. We have an EV charger available for the use of guests. Charging fees apply at approximately £15 for an overnight charge. Guest access Our Farmhouse Apartment is at the end of a 200 metre farm track signposted off the B6161. Stainburn is a tiny village about a mile away. The Smiths Arms at Beckwithshaw and The Square & Compass at North Rigton are both approximately 2 miles away. Harrogate (6 miles) and Otley (5 miles) have excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities. Other things to note This is a self-catering apartment, but basic breakfast and cooking essentials are available for guests. Dogs are most welcome in and around the property and gardens. Dog cleanliness is greatly appreciated. Your hosts are dog owners. We ask for a small extra payment of £10 per dog per visit, payable by cash or transfer during your stay. No charge for assistance dogs. Please also note that there is another guest apartment and a camping cabin which are sometimes occupied by other guests. If you are interested in booking for a larger group, it is sometimes possible to book all three spaces - 2 apartments and the Cabin - to accommodate 10/11 guests in total. If there are other guests around during your stay, they might need to share the ample car parking space, and will also have access to the large gardens and yards which surround Moorside Farmhouse. Guests using our other two spaces have outdoor seating areas completely separate from your private space. The Cabin is listed on AirB&B as “Glamping & Barbecue Cabin at Moorside Farmhouse”. If there are no guests booked in during your stay, you can make arrangements to spend an afternoon or evening in the cabin. Please note that there is no washing machine in the Annexe kitchen, but guests are very welcome to use our washing machine, which situated conveniently in our utility room, a few metres from your kitchen door.
