Situated on a remote headland in the North East of Skye, Croft41 is a stylish and contemporary house located just six miles from Uig. From its abundance of picture windows the property enjoys views towards the Minch and the Outer Hebrides, catching amazing sunsets and even the Northern Lights. Croft41 allows you to enjoy everything Skye has to offer in every sort of weather! The space Tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout, the accommodation is located over two levels. The downstairs features an open plan living, dining area and kitchen, with oak flooring, a real stove and floor to ceiling windows offering magnificent views to the Outer Hebrides. The kitchen is well equipped with all the usual appliances and has a large dining table for eight. The French doors offer direct access to the decking and garden, perfect for enjoying the glorious sunsets and on clear nights, taking in the stars and the awe of the Aurora Borealis. Two bedrooms are located on this level, a double and a twin (which can be set up as a super king if required), as is a shower room and utility/boot room. Two further bedrooms are located on the first floor, the master with a king size bed and a twin (which can be set up as a super king if required). Both bedrooms have coombed ceilings with velux windows and enjoy views over the garden and to the Minch to the Outer Hebrides in the distance. A bathroom with a bath and shower over can also be found on this level. All the beds have luxury Egyptian cotton bed linens. Croft 41 has a large enclosed garden with a swing set and wildlife pond, ideal for those guests with children. The garden is also enclosed making it safe for pets. Garden furniture is provided (although not available in the Winter due to the potential for high winds). ***New for 2020 - Hot Tub*** Whether you’ve been climbing hills, walking round the coast or just relaxing with a book in the peace and tranquility at Croft41, I would highly recommend ending your day with a glass of something cold and bubbly in the brand new hot tub. Actually, seeing as you are on your holidays any time of day would be perfect! Now fully installed, Croft41's beautifully round wood-fired wooden hot tub is hidden away at the North end of the house. From here you can enjoy unparalleled sea views across the Minch to the Outer Isles, total privacy is guaranteed. Completely chemical free - the water is changed after each stay - you can enjoy a hot tub with out the harsh consequences on your skin or the environment. With an internal fire box the hot tub will reach 40 degrees heat within 3 hours. External lights combined with underwater lights and massage bubbles make for a very romantic setting or why not turn all the lights off and enjoy the beautiful stars, the Milky Way and perhaps the Northern Lights. You can relax and unwind in the hot tub at any time of the day or night, safe in the knowledge that only the birds and the sheep will ever be able to see you. To complete the experience we provide special hot tub glasses for your bubbly and bath robes and slippers for each guest to help make your hot tub holiday perfect. For safety reasons use of the hot tub will not be permitted in adverse weather conditions.
