The space The space is a room in my house with independent access from the garden, not a flat. Make sure to read other things to note section. Double bed with memory foam mattress topper and concrete floors + small en-suite WET room with shower, toilet, and sink all sharing the same wet floor. DAB radio No kitchen but kettle, toaster, microwave and mini fridge + basic cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs provided. Extra pillows, towels, fan etc... are on request, we have a whole house full of things you might need, so please ask away! No TV When we don't hosts guests in the space with use it as a spare print/art studio. You'll see examples of our prints on the walls, and also a couple of inks stains on the floor. Guest access You will access the space from shared garden, which has an independent entrance. You can come and go as you please but only paying visitors are allowed. Other things to note - The space is a room in our house (our cellar) that we separate from the rest of the house. Although you'll feel like you are in your own studio, it is not sound insulated so we might hear each other. - Make sure to enter the right number of guests when booking as there is a small difference in price for 1 or 2 guests. - Pets are allowed with you free of charge however my tiny garden isn’t fit for being used as a pet toilet. There is a park 2min walk from the house. Please keep your dog on a lead if they are reactive and agressive behaviour towards us will not be tolerated. -There is a high step to climb to access the studio with no handrail. Please check photos before booking as this might not be to everyone’s taste or ability. Wooden steps are provided to help climbing this big step however use them with caution and at your own risk. - The number of guests and pets need to be clearly communicated before check in. - For safety reason no visitors allowed. In other words only paying guests are allowed to be visiting the property. - Central heating is off at night. Pack warm clothes for indoors especially if you are going to be jet lagged and up at night. Spare electric heater and hot water availabe. - Communication: We are not set up like a hotel with 24hr receptionist. You will be staying in our home where we are trying to live a normal life please be considerate of this. I need a minimum of communication re: check in/out times and delays. This is for many reasons: when to make myself available, when to keep the house warm, quiet, turn on/off lights but also because of our own privacy and safety. Please do not just show up on my property without notice or bring visitors. - CHECK IN time is FROM 3pm which means we need to both agree on a time after 3pm . Please understand that I’m available 7 days a week but sometimes I have social and work commitments so I might not be able to make it until later. That is especially true when checking in on a Sunday.
