Woodlands Lake House

We welcome you to come and stay in our cosy annexe bungalow, situated on a beautiful 22 acres of land. Our place is perfect for nature lovers, as you will be able to enjoy long walks around our woodlands and fields. We have an array of birds (including owls and a heron who regularly visits), a small lake, and a large pond with fish. We allow fishing, however all fish must be returned to the water. (Please message us for accurate address because airbnb didn't have the option available) The space We are in a great location for access to the A1 and A46, pretty much perfectly in between Scotland and London. This is a two bedroom bungalow, with a marble heated floor, an open space kitchen/living room and breakfast bar. There is a microwave, oven, pans and hobs if you wish to cook. The conservatory has doors that lead into the garden, and is where the dining table is situated. This is a beautiful room to have dinner in, especially in summer! You will have access to all of our 22 acres of private land, which includes fields, a small woodland, a lake and a big pond. The area is quiet and secluded - a perfect break if you live in a town or city. As mentioned above we do allow fishing in both the lake and the pond, however all fish must be returned to the same water they were caught in. Guest access You will have the whole bungalow to yourselves, access to the whole 22 acres of land, our garden, and driveway. If you would prefer keeping your car under cover, we have a large barn you can park in. Other things to note We are pet friendly and allow 2 pets for free, however only those who are wormed, flea'd and toilet trained. Each additional pet after two will be charged £50 for the entire stay. Please pick up your pet’s litter and dispose of it in the appropriate bags in the bins outside. ***IMPORTANT INFO: WE REQUIRE AN EXTRA £50 ON TOP OF THE CLEANING FEE IF YOU WISH TO BRING YOUR PET(S)*** The pet cleaning fee must be paid prior to or on arrival directly to us (we can arrange this once booking is made). This is because after check out, we hire a professional furniture cleaner to give it an extra thorough clean after pets have stayed. Soiling in the house is 100% forbidden. If your pet has fleas then you will be held accountable and charged with the bill for pest control treatments. We have a very friendly and well behaved golden retriever, who loves all other humans, animals and is great with kids. He will probably come and try to make friends with you.
