Our semi-troglodytic house is located in Touraine, in the heart of the Vouvray wine region and the Châteaux de la Loire. It will amaze you with its spectacular construction in the heart of a white tuffeau hillside, a sign of the Loire Valley's cultural identity. Our cottage is located in the French Touraine region surrounded by historic Middle-Age and Renaissance castles and world-renowned wineries. The cottage is one of rare and spectacular troglodyte style with one third of the house dug into the Vouvray hillside overlooking the Cher and Loire river valleys. Maison Melrose offers 3 double bedrooms and can be rented all year round by 2, 4 or 6 persons. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required. Our castle and wine region is Unesco World Heritage site. Maison Melrose is available year round. Services include: Linen (bed sheets, towels, tea towels, tablecloths, napkins). Bed linen is changed weekly for any stay longer than a week. Housekeeping – included in the rates and will also be provided weekly for any stay longer than a week. Cleaning kit (dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets and other detergents) Convenience pack (salt, pepper, vinegar, oil) Breakfast kit (coffee, tea etc.) We can provide a cot on request (upon booking).
