On site catering and chef's table available upon request The space La Villa Noire is a fantastic base for all activities with Montreux and Vevey on the doorstep, the beautiful Lake of Geneva beaches, the stunning vineyards and incredible hikes are all here waiting for you. Additionally, winter activities of skiing, snow shoeing and sledding are all within a 30 minute drive. Dejah is a trained chef and is available for private catering or a chef's table experience inside the main house with advanced booking. La Villa Noire is set up for a maximum of two people: *Large, self-contained apartment of 55 square meters with private entrance *American King Size Bed with Four Seasons mattress, memory foam pillows and fine bed linens from Bloomingdale's in the US. Green velvet blackout curtains will assure that you get the best sleep ever *Flat screen TV, Netflix, sound bar, blue tooth speaker, and fast wifi *New, state of the art, fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives, quality cookware and premier Gaggenau appliances. Plenty of ingredients such as olive oil, spices, sugar and vinegars are stocked for your convenience. We will leave coffee, tea, fresh bread, butter and milk for you too enjoy *Sofa and velvet lounge chair (both from Room & Board, USA), Kartel light fixtures and many other Mid Century Modern design features *Garden access with outdoor sofa, table and chairs and a Weber gas grill to relax and enjoy nature and the sounds of the gurgling stream next to the property *Newly renovated bathroom with large bathtub, rain shower, bath robes and fluffy towels. High quality soaps, shampoo and conditioner *Washing machine and dryer located in the main house garage (available upon request) Guest access We have space for one additional car in our driveway. There is often free parking just outside our gate and a large public parking lot is a 3 minute walk away. The bus stop is also 5 minute walk from the house. Clarens train station is a 15 minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride). Montreux train station is a 10 minute bus ride away. If we are available, we can come pick you up. Otherwise, we are happy to help you organize a taxi service if you need assistance. Other things to note La Villa Noire is the perfect holiday flat for two adults. There is no set up for young children or infants traveling with parents. We do not allow parties on the premises. We are happy to help you with restaurant bookings or other tips for local things to do. We live in the main house so will be on hand for any questions you may have.
