Hope Cottage. Whixley.

Hope Cottage is in a peaceful village in the perfect location to visit the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer . Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. Generous discounts are on offer for long term let’s (28day or more .) Please note that charging points are not available to charge electric cars . The space Guests have full use of the kitchen, which comes equipped with all that’s necessary for a short stay. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, and towels and toiletries will be provided. The front bedroom has a king size bed , with good quality bedding. The second bedroom has a single bed ,but only suitable for children over 5 years old . The room has seating for three people and a smart TV, and there is a separate dining area . Guests are welcome to sit outside in the back garden and enjoy the peace and quiet of village life. Guest access The outside space at the rear of the cottage is totally private, reclining deck chairs are available, and it’s the perfect place to chill out with a glass of wine after either a busy day sightseeing or walking in The Dales. Other things to note The property is old, and full of character, the doors downstairs are low, and the stairs are narrow and steep , so not good for people with mobility problems. This is my home , so please leave it as you found it.
