Hope Cottage is in a peaceful village in the perfect location to visit the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer . Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. Generous discounts are on offer for long term let’s (28day or more .) Please note that charging points are not available to charge electric cars . The space Guests have full use of the kitchen, which comes equipped with all that’s necessary for a short stay. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, and towels and toiletries will be provided. The bedroom has a new king size bed , again with new top quality bedding. Downstairs the sitting room has a smart TV, radio, and selection of books, jigsaws, and cards. The small dining area is between the kitchen and sitting room. Guest access The outside space at the rear of the cottage is totally private, reclining deck chairs are available, and it’s the perfect place to chill out with a glass of wine after either a busy day sightseeing or walking in The Dales. Other things to note The property is old, and full of character, the doors downstairs are low, and the stairs are narrow and steep , so not good for people with mobility problems.
