The space Idyllic Villa by the Sea – Perfect for a Dream Holiday Welcome to our beautiful villa, located in a quiet area by the sea in the western part of Bergen, less than 20 minutes from Bergen city center. This property is a little paradise, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The villa has a lovely garden with a new, heated swimming pool (4x8 meters) which is available from March to October. There is a large boathouse with a long table and chairs, ideal for social gatherings, as well as a private dock with a diving board next to a charming small public beach. The villa has a stunning view of the sea and there are also great hiking opportunities in the area, including several freshwater lakes where you can take a swim. It is also idyllic during the winter. If you enjoy year-round swimming in the sea, you will probably enjoy a cool dip in the sea, before a warming bath in the hottube. It is also amazing just to look at the sea, and the boats passing by. Despite occasional airplane noise from Flesland Airport on the other side of the sea, the noise quickly subsides and does not disturb the peaceful atmosphere. Guest access Our guests may use our car port for parking. You may use the whole property, including the garden, boat house, the pier, swimming pool, the hot tub, the trampoline, the play house and so on. We do, however, not guarantee that the playhouse is totally tidy, since it is our daughters play area outdoors. You are still free to use it. Our guests may also borrow our two paddleboards and the kajak. We have a small boat which we offer our guests to rent. The boat is 14 feet, has 15 hk and room for 5 persons. Vi normally charge 60 euros a day, but we may discuss the price if you are staying at our home for a week of more. The house has a small apartment on the ground floor. Our tenant has a separate entrance on another floor and part of the house than the main entrance. He may use a small area outside his apartment. Our tenant is very nice, and we have never heard any noise from the apartment / him. Other things to note It is not allowed to have parties in our house / at our property, and it is not allowed to smoke indoors. Feel free to contact us if you would like to rent our house for a weekend. Even though we normally have a minimum of three days rental, we may exceptionally also rent it out for a weekend or a three days stay.
