Jazz's Quirky Cabin with Hot tub Sauna & Treehouse

Jazz's Quirky Cabin is in a woodland type area creating private feels. It is an upcycled shipping container so original features remain with conversions in place such as large patio doors at the front & wood cladding. Its a basic , natural experience offering an invitation of embrace for nature & simplicity. Be sure to read this listing fully before choosing to stay. Transparency is important to me so you know what you are booking & we will not strip any nature back for vanity purposes. The space The Space includes use of a two person hot tub within the area, situated in a tree house. The hot tub will be ready to use when you arrive & There are Steps to the Hot tub and surrounding areas. The cabin itself is a small converted shipping container cladded in recycled waney edge. The original front door remains within the cabin to enable opening during summer months & a fire exit if needed- we cover this in colder weather with a curtain to keep draft out ( we are not hiding this door from you). The front of the cabin has large patio doors with a view of the trees that remain within the originally wooded area & an open fire pit that you could sit & watch roar from bed on colder nights. The cabin has no fixed heating so be sure to pack warm layers & extra blankets. The Kitchenette is a converted Garden shed and is very basic. It has a sink with water supply ( cold water but boil the kettle if needed) & a two ring camping gas stove you can use - gas supplied. We also supply very basic pots , pans & cutlery but feel welcome to bring along all your own essential home comforts to use during the stay. The Outdoor Shower is situated overlooking a countryside view on a clear day , it can most certainly be crisp in there but this is the glory of camping - you get to feel the elements of nature & take some time to feel grounded beneath your feet. The water is warm water supply in the outdoor shower -'warm' not 'hot' & can vary In pressure due to being a bog standard camping boiler. The Outdoor toilet is separate from the cabin itself , it is situated along side the shower in a separate entity and it is a COMPOSTING TOILET - Eco friendly option for us & we can use the compost to put back into the earth for regrowth. You do not need to do anything out of the ordinary when using the composting toilet although the sound of it may make you feel instantly alarmed it really is quite a simple process . Go to the toilet as you would normally & pop a small scoop of sawdust down after , easy as that! You are more than welcome to ask me any questions about this and I have a write up in my welcome pack with more info. I will empty the compost toilet manually when you depart so please do not worry about any of this. Cold Plunge pool within the area for use if your feeling brave enough to face the chill. We don't fill the Pool for each use because not everyone likes to use it so its a waste on water, instead we pop the hose within the area for you to fill if using and drain after. The Outdoor Sauna is for you to use and sits within the space but be mindful upon booking that this can be weather dependant due to the nature of where it sits. There may not always be lighting within the sauna during evening use as this is dependant on solar charge. This also goes for the remainder of the area when it comes to outdoor lighting , its all solar however the indoor areas have electric supply & fairy lights. NO REFUND GIVEN If Sauna is OFF during your stay - this is your decision to book after reading this knowing the sauna may be out of use , however i will say its a rare occasion. Please Kindly note if you have not yet from above that the area is very much a camping style stay with some perks along the way. If you are not a plan of animals & natural environments / wildlife this is not the place for you. I can host up to four guests when requested prior. We have a pull out sofa bed inside the cabin for this purpose and host many regular family's of four - it's a tight squeeze but definitely doable and enjoyable for most. Please message me for extra pricing per night on two extra guests - please do not just bring extra guests along without saying , you will be told to leave & no refund will be offered. We are a WASTE FREE ZONE so please take your rubbish home, we are happy to dispose of Glass & Tins if separated. Guest access You can access your pitch via a narrow gravel lane between ponds & I will send you an automatic message with directions a day or two before arrival. You will be able to park directly along side the cabin in a private parking spot for an extra sense of security & you can see your car when within the cabin. The doors to the cabin will be open & everything else within your area will be on and ready to use - the key remains inside the door for you to lock if you feel you want to when coming and going - please pop it back in the door unlocked before you depart. The only part of the space that is lockable is the cabin itself due to the nature of the facilities. Other things to note We strongly advise against drinking the water on site as it is well water. If you continue to do so it is done at your own risk. Please bring plenty of bottled water. Things may need maintenance/upkeep during your time here due to the nature of the pitches being outdoors & using recycled materials often facing all weather elements throughout season. if your staying from Jan - April / may we cannot predict weather conditions so may not have painted etc if too wet - this doesn't effect usage of pitch however may not be 'picture perfect'. The site is surrounded by country lanes , working tractors & live stock which means roads can be muddy & narrow often - please consider this before booking & drive with extra care , we won’t accept any responsibility for surrounding road conditions . as stated in my profile , the sauna is situated outdoors & due to the nature of this it is a weather dependant facility here on site . If we have long periods of rainfall it may not be accessible during your stay due to a safety trip when the wood gets too damp - no refunds are offered for this so please be mindful of this upon booking your stay . I really don’t Appreciate when guests snap the branches off all the trees during the stay for firewood it makes me very uncomfortable so please do just bring along your own firewood if you wish to have a fire pit , please preserve our natural surroundings within your pitch - we have lost alot of trees due to storm damage and dont want to loose anymore if we can help it. You may find pine needles entering the cabin , the hot tub or any other areas within your pitch - please be mindful that this area is very much an outdoor style camping trip before you stay . The hot tub water is always chemicalised , sanitised & tested before arrival but we cannot guarantee droppings of outdoor elements/debris when lid is off. we accept no responsibility or liability when using the hot tub , sauna and surrounding areas on site at your own risk. if you choose to book you are accepting the above statements. No refunds will be given because of outdoor elements entering the hot tub or indoor areas and this includes flys , frogs , spiders , webs etc. I do sometimes get complaints of frogs being within the area and unfortunately i dont think they would take much note of a stay clear sign. The hot tub is pH tested before your arrival and can be tested on arrival if requested. I also wont remove a spiders web if it is outdoors , i find this unnecessary & a little unkind. The cabin is a converted and upcycled storage container with its original door kept in for extra ventilation in hot weather & as a fire exit but covered in the winter to keep the draft out , we are not trying to hide this door from anyone and if you feel you would have an issue with any of its original features remaining this kindly isn't the space for you . be sure to pack extra warm layers as there is no fixed heating on site. Any property left on site we take no responsibility for if lost or damaged. We will not reimburse or post any items left behind so please insure you have collected all belongings upon departure or you are welcome to return for them at a date agreed upon. We live on site and have one other pitch in use during the stay. The pitches are designed to be far enough away from each other for a sense of privacy and although we are based on site it is very much self accommodated. there may often be creepy crawlers on site due to the nature in which the pitch sits - being mainly an outdoor fixture . If your not a fan of frogs , spiders & nature in general kindly this may not be the right space for you as I cannot stop the access of any of the above passing by from time to time. please note the kitchenette is also an outdoor shed style fixture so keep food boxes locked & sanitise surfaces daily using the sanitiser spray provided in the kitchen. do not leave food out & always check surfaces for any droppings before usage. Unfortunately I cannot stop the access of mice from time to time so be cautiously sanitary & consider this factor before staying, thankyou. It is very important for me to be fully transparent so that you know where you are booking & what you are paying for.
