Description
Our little white cottage has everything to get away from it all- country views, peace and quiet. We have no close neighbours and a big garden, with lots of birds, plants and wildlife. Sunsets and stargazing is particularly good sat on the step with a glass of wine! Situated opposite a golf course and private airfield, and next door to an equestrian and fishing centre. And half an hour walk home from the local pub. Keys are via a lockbox and there's a welcome pack with local info inside. The space There's 2 bedrooms, both with storage and hanging space, one with a double bed and the other with a single/king size bed pull out bed. There's feather pillows, wool blankets and cushions- so be aware if you have allergies. In the kitchen, you're free to use everything. Cooker, washing machine, pots and pans. Washing line, hairdryer, iron and board too. There's no shower so get ready to relax with a morning bath and a cup of tea! Underfloor heating throughout and a log burner with plenty of wood . We now have wifi (but still no shower or tv) so you can relax on your holiday without being detached completely. The cleaning is done by an external company so it's sparkling when you arrive. Unfortunately this means they can’t leave milk or welcome Welsh cakes- very sorry in advance! Linen and towels for 2 people are included in the cleaning fee and it's a bit extra for 3/4 guests. If you are 2 people that require separate beds I'm afraid it's an extra £10 to cover the laundry- PLEASE let me know in advance. Guest access The house is yours, as is the garden on the top level outside and fire pit down the bottom. It's one nice level floor throughout so it can accommodate a wheelchair once you’re in via a small step. Our cottage may feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but it's only 5 minutes from a train and National Express bus stop, 10 minutes to Neyland Marina and 15 minutes to Broad Haven beach. Parking is no problem with a big area at the back. Other things to note Sorry we can’t accept dogs (or cats) due to allergies. We do accept children, but our house really isn’t set up for it. Please keep this in mind as we can’t be held responsible for any childs-play related breakages or injuries! Get in touch if you’re not sure :) For families with infants- Airbnb doesn’t consider an infant billable so the cleaner won’t automatically make up the single bed. If your infant requires the bed then please consider them a child! Electric car charging- we don’t mind you charging cars on our supply, just let us know and we can send an invoice after you’ve stayed. We’ll remotely check our smart meter and you just pay the excess; just be warned we’re not on any special rates!
