3-bedrooms, terrace and garden with BBQ

House (3 bedrooms, spacious kitchen/living, upstairs terrace, spacious garden with barbecue, 2 bathrooms) in a quiet corner of the Upper Village on Susak. Fully equipped kitchen, w/ dishwasher, washing machine. Linens, towels, WiFi included in the price. Susak is a tiny and sandy remote island in the northern Adriatic, without cars or traffic - perfect for a rest from busy urban life! The space The rental is registered for 5 persons, with a 6th person allowed only if it is a child. We would be grateful if you could make sure not to spend water needlessly. Susak is a faraway island and there is no central water system to which it is connected; water is brought by special boats. One bathroom is inside the house (bathtub + toilet), the other is in the garden (shower + toilet). Bed linen & bathroom towels - included in the price. PLEASE bring your own beach towels. Our house is in the Upper Village, which is more beautiful and better placed for exploring the island. That's where small sandy paths start that take you through vineyards to beaches where you get the impression you're in ancient Greece or Rome - nothing modern in sight. It's good to know: 1) the scenery to get to the beaches is beautiful, but all the beaches are about a 15-min walk without shade - so Susak is for sure a semi-active holiday destination; and 2) there is no doctor or pharmacy on the island, but there is a nurse above the post office for emergencies. Other things to note Please note while the WiFi usually works just fine, every summer on at least one occasion it just 'drops' and we depend on a repair person from the mainland to fix it, which can sometimes take a few days. If that happens, there is nothing we can do to speed it up, and it's usually island-wide. Please bear in mind in case you depend strongly on WiFi during your holiday. --- We also ask our guests to please treat our house kindly - repairing or replacing items is very logistically challenging (and expensive!) on an island like Susak. --- We would also be grateful if you could leave the house tidy (doesn't have to be exactly as you found it, but a small effort please), and put all things you used inside the house before you leave. The cleaning fee covers the costs of in-depth cleaning/preparing the house for the next guests, but extra tidying up costs us extra too.--- Please also throw away your big trash/recycling the evening before you leave; of course no worries for small leftovers e.g. from your breakfast on the morning of departure.
