The Farm "Campo del Pillo" offers a unique stay in the nature of the Tuscan-Emilian National Park. The old farmhouse was recovered in the best tradition by master craftsmen. The property, an old farmhouse, has been restored according to the best tradition, by master craftsmen who have kept the charm of the place intact. The space The farm offers different types of accommodation, there are 7 rooms in total and they can be rented separately or all together. The Il Melo (apple tree) room offers 1 double size bed. The room has its own private bathroom. The room can be rented together with the double room Il Nespolo, for big families or groups of friends. The price of the bedroom includes breakfast and the possibility of using the kitchen and the entire outdoor garden with the barbecue and the swimming pool (for the weekend there's no check out at 11:00 and our guests can enjoy our swimming pool for the whole day). There are many delicious local Emilian restaurants nearby. The farm is personally run by the owner, Dr. agr. Bragazzi Fabrizio, who lives on the ground floor of the farmhouse. The farm is self-sufficient in agriculture, and provides the production of fodder. In autumn, chestnut and fruit wood is available to our guests. In collaboration with the Association of environmental guides 'Altri Passi' we offer excursions to discover the natural and historical beauty along the trails of the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and in the Lands of Matilde, including geology, castles and ancient villages. The "Campo del Pillo" farmhouse is located in the Reggio Emilia Apennines, near the center of Castelnovo ne' Monti, in close contact with the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park. The Il Melo room offers a double bed with private bathroom. The room can possibly be rented together with the Nespolo room by large families or groups of friends. The room price includes breakfast and the possibility to use the shared kitchen, as well as the entire outdoor area with barbecue and swimming pool (N.B. during the weekend, check-out is extended until evening and guests can use the outdoor areas and our swimming pool throughout the following day). All rooms, bathrooms and apartments are equipped with sheets-towels etc. The kitchens are "complete". Dishes-cutlery-detergents-sponges-paper towels etc. are available. All included in the price. The area is still full of delicious typical Emilian restaurants. The farm's main activity is breeding purebred Arabian horses. The farm is personally managed by the owner, agronomist Fabrizio Bragazzi, who resides on the premises of the company itself. The agricultural estate is self-sufficient, and provides for the production of fodder; it includes the summer and winter stables. In the autumn, the chestnut grove is available for guests. In collaboration with the Altri Passi Environmental Hiking Guides Association, we can offer excursions to discover the natural and historical beauties along the trails of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park and in the Terre di Matilde, among geology, castles and ancient villages. During your stay I will always be available during your stay to suggest the best places to visit and where you can eat our best traditional food. I will be available to my guests throughout their stay to recommend the best places to visit and the best cappelletti in our mountains.
