Thornbank Cottage - snug & simple, kids & pets OK

Thornbank is a snug and simple timber built holiday cottage in the heart of the village of Braemar.  Paragliding, mountain biking, skiing, walking or perhaps a relaxing holiday at one with nature?  Here you can indulge in all the activities that the Upper Dee Valley and Cairngorms National Park have to offer, then return to a cosy hearth and home. We are located in the centre of the village, but set back behind the road in a quiet spot with woods to the rear. The space The cottage dates from around 1890. The lounge-dining room has a cosy log burner in an old stone chimney breast, and a small writing desk. Thornbank is small but comfortable, sleeps 4 and and has everything you need for a break away from the stresses of daily life. Please note there is no TV or wifi (there is usually a 4G mobile signal in the village). Outside, there is a shed for storage of mountain bikes or other outdoor gear, a BBQ, and a fire pit in the garden. Guest access Guests can use the entire cottage, gardens and one shed. Other things to note Please be aware there is noTV or wifi, but there is a good 4G mobile phone signal at the cottage and in the village. We can often manage an early check-in, please contact us to dioscuss this if you would like to arrive earlier than 16.00 hrs.
