Lovely, quiet bedroom with private, sunny salon - view of Chateau Castlenaud - private attached bathroom. Large walled garden with chateau view and several lounging areas. Tiny, secluded village, offers views of Chateau Beynac, Chateau Castelnaud, Chateau Fayrac, and a walk uphill brings you to Chateau Marqueysac. Within 3 mins' drive: Castlenaud; Beynac; Le Roque Gageac. Less than 10 mins to Domme or Sarlat; 15 mins to St Cyprien; 30 mins to Les Eyzies and 35 to Montignac. The space A couple with 1 small child can be accommodated. Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome (I have 2 cats and 2 garden turtles). L Guest access Terrace, sitting areas. I can also keep food and wine for you in my refrigerator. Breakfast can be served in your salon or on the terrace. During your stay I am here most of the time, but you have as much privacy as you wish. I have lived here for most of my life and can offer you many ideas for visits and walks. Other things to note Besides their chateaus, the medieval villages nearby offer some particular delights: Castlenaud-La-Chapelle has an excellent patisserie; Beynac's Le Petite Tonelle restaurant is a local favorite; La Rocque Gageac offers Gabarre rides on the river and La Belle Etoile restaurant, among others; Domme has retained its entries and much of its walls, with views, restaurants, and a busy Thursday market; Sarlat's Wednesday food and Saturday morning general markets, restaurants, and ancient center are renowned; Saint Cyprien's Saturday Market is not to be missed.
