During the day, a lively holiday region of Flims/Laax and at night the village tranquility... the thrill of the oldest alpine via ferrata in Switzerland, the natural swimming option in a crystal-clear mountain lake, or the passage by kayak through one of the most spectacular gorges in Switzerland ... then this is the place for you! StayBasicAlps! The space In 2013, the former workshop of the nearby village school was converted into an apartment by adding a glazed extension to the old building, which allows an unobstructed panoramic view of the undeveloped mountains. Unlike most regional apartments in the region, the large window front offers the resident constantly changing lighting moods. Due to the south-facing location on the edge of the Rhine Gorge, the apartment warms up to pleasant temperatures in winter from early sunrise to dusk due to the sunlight. After sunset, the fully automatic oven burns for the cozy end of the evening. October-March: On long winter evenings, a "home theater" can be connected and used with your laptop or iPad via cable connection in just a few simple steps. April-September: In summer, 2 new e-bikes are available, with which the nearby sights can be easily reached. (The additional rent per stay is CHF 150 per bike) Please note that our two bikes are not suitable for the mountain trail or downhill. Guest access Our large private parking lot is right in front of the house, at the outside staircase that leads to the apartment door. The post bus stop is only 25 meters from the house. Regional connection all year round every 30 minutes. Travel times: Flims/Laax ski resort 10-15 minutes, to Chur city center/train station 25 minutes. Arrival by Rhaetian Railway to Trin station in the valley is also possible, but there is no bus connection for the altitude difference of 250 m.
