Camping Pod 3 with Mountain & Loch View - Dalavich

Cosy camping pod overlooking Loch Awe, with mountain views and ability to fish from shoreline. A total of 6 dog friendly pods located adjacent to lochawe in the village of Dalavich. Pod 3 has 1 dbl and 1 sgl bed and a mattress for kids. The village has a shop, licensed cafe and pub (seasonal opening), bike hire is available nearby. Bring everything you would as if you were camping except the tent, there are shared public toilet facilities with hot water and an outside tap for drinking water. The space Pod number 3 is located down a gentle staircase from the carpark with magnificent views of the loch and the hills beyond. If you have mobility restrictions we recommend you look at pods 1 and 6 that are level to the carpark and facilities. Outside Pod 3 there is a decking area with seating and a BBQ stone to place your BBQ. Inside there is a Single bed, a double bed and a child size pull out mattress. There is an under counter fridge with small freezer compartment, Microwave, kettle, lighting and electric sockets with USB ports. You will also find a small dining table and seating. As the Argyll nights can be very dark, we recommend you bring a torch. Guest access Guests have full access to the pod with decked area and also the loch shore in front of the pod site including the picnic benches and communal fire pit. We have contactless arrivals and departures but we are always nearby if you need us. Other things to note The camping pods are located next to the tiny forestry village of Dalavich. In the village you will find a licensed cafe, shop and post office (seasonal opening applies). There are miles and miles of forest walks and cycle paths. Loch Awe has many wee islands to explore including Innis Chonnel, the original seat of the clan Campbell. You can hire a boat and explore the ruins of the 14th century castle.
