Cozy little room in a bright, spacious flat by Lund’s main park. Steps from the station, cafes & museums. Ideal for visiting students or researchers. Shared home with one guest or myself (PhD student). Calm, friendly vibe in the heart of Lund. The space Welcome to a bright and spacious 90 sqm apartment on the 2nd floor, right across from Lund’s beautiful main park. Full of natural light and calm energy, it’s an ideal space for students, researchers, or anyone looking for a cozy, academic-friendly home in the city. The apartment includes two bedrooms, a large dining room, and an open, airy living room where you can relax or work by the windows with a park view. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens onto a balcony facing a peaceful inner garden — perfect for coffee breaks or quiet reading. The bathroom is compact but functional, and it includes a small washing machine — a handy bonus in Sweden. The building also has a shared laundry room available. All common spaces — kitchen, bathroom, living and dining rooms — are shared with one other guest or with me (a PhD student), depending on the booking. The vibe is quiet, respectful, and relaxed. You’ll be just a short walk from Lund Central Station, the university, and all the best cafes, museums, restaurants, and shops in town — a perfect base for living, working, or studying in Lund. The small room has a single bed, a compact closet, and natural light. A small desk can be added if you need one. Guest access Guests have full access to all shared spaces in the apartment: the kitchen (fully equipped), dining room, spacious living room with park views, balcony, and bathroom. The bedrooms are, of course, private and for each guest’s personal use only. Since the bathroom and kitchen are shared, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of common courtesy — especially in terms of cleanliness and noise. I do my best to keep the kitchen well-stocked with basics, and there’s a monthly cleaning service for the shared spaces. Still, small gestures like replacing something when it runs out are always appreciated. During your stay I’m often around and happy to chat, share a cup of coffee, or swap book and travel tips — but I also fully respect your privacy and personal space. That said, I travel quite a bit for work, so sometimes you’ll be sharing the apartment with another guest instead of me. Either way, I’m always reachable if anything comes up. This is very much a real home — of a researcher, not a hotel — and I love hosting others who appreciate a quiet, welcoming space in a beautiful part of Lund. Other things to note This is a calm and respectful home, so quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am — both for noise and things like laundry (please finish washing before 9pm). A professional cleaner comes once a month to help keep shared spaces fresh and tidy. Of course, day-to-day consideration from all guests is appreciated. Please note that additional visitors or overnight guests aren’t allowed unless arranged with me in advance — just to be mindful of everyone’s comfort, especially when the apartment is shared. This is a space for people who value peace, respectful routines, and a relaxed home atmosphere — whether you're here to study, work, or simply enjoy Lund.
