We have an official license from the housing department of the city of Berlin to rent out. The space You have the exclusive use of 2 comfortable new rooms (a kingsize bed-room and a room with one bed, dining and open kitchen), plus your own bathroom (no sharing with others!) , in a newly constructed building, designed by the famous Berlin architect Graft. All utilities (electricity, water, internet, tv) included. We have an official registration from Berlin Town Hall to rent out the 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom, parking place. Anmeldung (registration) with Berlin Town hall possible for long term or permanent rentals. If you wish, we can assist you with the Anmeldung once you are in Berlin. Available beyond Airbnb calendar dates, upon prior request, in consultation. The iconic building looks like a cruise boat, boarding the Spree river that meanders west through Berlins city center. It sits in a unique location full of historic landmarks, between the Oberbaum Brücke and the Elsen Brücke. This section of the river Spree was part of the so-called Berlin Wall. A paved bike- and footpath running along the river allows for pleasant strolls and running. The fantastic Treptower Park, Treptower Hafen (Harbour) are on 200 meter, the park along the river Spree (where you can rent a boat to sail on the river Spree) is fantastic, comparable to New York's Central Park! It's also extremely well-located as it's close to many of Berlin's famous clubs and bustling nightlife, yet at the same time it's perfectly secluded and quiet. Supermarkets and public transport are at short walking distance. The owner created 2 “units” out of the big apartment, each “unit” having its own kingsize bed bedroom, living (bed) room/kitchen, bathroom. Please see photo of floor plan in our AirBnB listing! You share the entrance hall with the second unit exclusively used by the owner when he is in Berlin. From your bedroom to your own livingroom/kitchen, bathroom, or vice versa, you go via this shared entrance hall. All individual room doors leading to the shared entrance hall have their own key for privacy and security. We have a Japanese screen in the shared hall for your convenience. Please have a look at the photos and the floor plan of your own apartment rooms, highlighted in yellow on the photo of the floor plan. Use of washing machine and dryer, which you find in our own unit, upon request. The apartment is accessible by elevator or stair case. The building has a bike room at your disposal on ground floor level, as well as a small boat jetty on the waterfront. Videophone for extra security. The rooms in the apartment are on Level 2 of the building. It overlooks the Stralauer Allee. Your bedroom and living room are full of light thanks to large windows that you can tilt or turn open. The newest glass technology with triple isolation allows for plenty of daylight to come in while completely blocking any outside noise. Electronically operated sunscreens and dark hanging curtains guarantee your comfort both during the day and at night. We furnished it with new and contemporary decoration, making it comfortable without overdoing it. You will find it has many little extras that we don't even mention. So you can be sure everything is there to make it a pleasant stay. The apartment is a perfect base from where to explore Berlin. We love the light in our flat, all while having silence at night. Also, we greatly enjoy the proximity of the Spree river. Our biggest trump however we find our building's shared rooftop terrace/garden on Level 8 (by elevator to Level 7 or by staircase). Go upstairs for breakfast or drinks on the luxuriously fitted terrace, look the iconic sculpture Molecule Man right in the eye, see the sunrise and the sunset, and enjoy the breathtaking 360 degree view over the whole skyline of Berlin. TELEVISION, INTERNET AND WIFI: Fast WIFI in every room; Flat screen TV (Amazon prime and Fire) Videophone to provide access to visitors at front door of the building and domotic panel to control light and heating. FLOORS: The wooden floors all through the apartment are of a warm dark oak parquet with individually adjustable floor heating. WINDOWS/TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Triple glass, windows can be opened and closed as you please (tilted and turned), exterior sun screens, curtains and individually adjustable heating. Air fans in both rooms. BEDROOM 1: King-size bed (180 cm by 200 cm) with two single duvets, bedlinen; 2 night tables; Built-in cabinets for your cloth, shoes and belongings. BEDROOM 2/LIVING ROOM /KITCHEN: This is a multi-purpose studio room. The fully fitted open kitchen in the living room forms an integral part of the living space thanks to its warm colors and lighting. With its walnut-colored natural stone countertops, it contains all necessary equipment for cooking and dining. We have a bedroom with a kingsize bed (180 cm by 200cm) in the bedroom 1. In living/kitchen/bedroom 2 we have 1 single comfortable bed. So you can configure yourself who of you will sleep where and in which bed. We are aware that folding beds can be disappointing to sleep on, but we are happy to say that the bed, that you can easily unfold and fold, is of hotel quality. We provide all bedlinen and (single) duvets. If we cannot be there in person, our key holder will check you in. Our keyholder speaks German and English. We will send you a manual on the use of the unit, together with a list with tips for nice restaurants and public transport to and from the apartment to the major airports and train stations. I speak English, German, French, Spanish. If we cannot be there in person, you can pick up the keys at my keyholder. Our keyholder speaks German and English. I will send you a manual on the use of the apartment, together with a list with tips for nice restaurants and public transport to and from the apartment to the major airports and train stations. Other things to note As described, this space, consisting of: (1) kingsize-bedroom, plus (2) bedroom with very comfortable single bed/kitchenette, plus (3) bathroom and SHARED entrance hall is part of a bigger appartment. You SHARE the entrance hall with the owner who may pass through to his own apartment when he is in town. Also when you go from your bedroom (1) to the sbedroom/kitchenette, (3) bathroom, you go through this shared entrance hall. We have a Japanese screen for your convenience. The other apartment also has its own bedroom, bathroom, living room , kitchen. So you are totally independent: the above rooms are for exclusive use by yourself.
