A 10 minute drive from Betws y Coed Y Neuadd Lwyd is a 2 Bedroom/2 en-suite refurbished 16th Century Grade II Listed stone cottage set in its own courtyard garden adjacent to the beautiful Grade I Listed St Gwyddelan's Church. Inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings and wood burning stove with off road parking for 2 cars. Portmerion, Snowdon, Bodnant Gardens, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Velocity & Titan Zip Wire's and Conwy Castle are all within a 40 minute drive. 1 small dog accepted on request. The space Y Neuadd Lwyd is located in the village of Dolwyddelan just a 10 minute drive from Betws y Coed - Dolwyddelan is a tranquil and picturesque friendly village with a strong sense of community. Located at the head of the Lledr Valley, at the foot of Moel Siabod and on the banks of the River Lledr. The village is perfectly situated for touring Snowdonia or for simply relaxing and enjoying the beautiful countryside and local wildlife including bats, buzzards and a large selection of native birds which visit the garden daily. Minimum 2 night breaks accepted from Nov to Feb, however, we only accept weekly Saturday to Saturday bookings in peak season and longer short breaks in mid season. Guest access This locally historical Grade II Listed cottage is a former 16th Century tavern which has been extensively modernised internally whilst retaining all of its external period character. On the ground floor, the property has spacious, open plan living accommodation with beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, modern fitted kitchen and separate utility room. The Lounge area leads out onto an extensive decked terrace overlooking a private South West facing courtyard garden and the spectacular Snowdonia countryside beyond. Upstairs, the property has 2 stylish double bedrooms both with modern en-suite shower rooms. Other things to note 1 small dog accepted on request at an additional cost of £30.00. An additional fold away single bed is also available with bed linen for a nominal charge of £25 (suitable for a child). The cottage is approached along a private drive and has ample off road parking for 2 cars. The property is located next to the 15th Century Grade I Listed St Gwyddelan's Church. IDEAL FOR FAMILIES - No need to bring the kitchen sink just request the use of any of the following free of charge :- high chair, travel cot, fire guard and stair gate. Minimum 2 night breaks accepted from Nov to Feb, however, we only accept weekly Saturday to Saturday bookings in peak season and longer short breaks in mid season. The property is fitted with a £1 electric meter costing approx £1 - £4 per night in the Spring/Summer months and £3 - £6 per night during the Autumn/Winter months.
