A charming 1 bedroom single storey, dog friendly cottage. Rosemary is located a short easy drive from both the A30 & A38, giving great access to the North & South Coast of Cornwall The open plan layout has a large kitchen & spacious lounge/diner with a cosy wood burning stove. The bedroom has a sumptuous king size bed with crisp cotton linen & soft Plus access to our family friendly 1 acre garden with picnic benches, seating & garden toys including badminton/swing ball & football goal The space One well behaved dog is very welcome in Rosemary, we charge an additional £35 per dog, per stay, to cover any additional cleaning required. Rosemary has a small patio area with wrought iron table and chairs to the front of cottage, facing our pretty courtyard, surrounded by flowering tubs, a great space to relax and wind down whilst watching the garden bird antics feeding from the nearby bird table. Rosemary Cottage is part of 'Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages', comprising of three pretty properties: Rosemary Cottage (dog friendly) which has one kingsize bedroom accommodating up to two people, plus: Thyme Cottage - (no dogs) one kingsize bedroom & one twin. Lavender Cottage - (dog friendly) one large double bedroom & one twin. Both Thyme & Lavender Cottage accommodate up to four people per cottage. The cottages can either be booked separately or as a whole, accommodating up to ten guests in total. We have found this flexibility attracts families and friends attending weddings and celebrations at local venues such as Trevenna, Boconnoc and The Green as they are all within a five mile radius of Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages. Other things to note We are incredibly lucky to have many types of visiting birdlife (including cheeky Woodpeckers & Nuthatches), many of our guests enjoy watching their antics on the bird feeders from the cottage gardens ! There is a great choice of pubs, restaurants & tearooms in the area to suit all tastes. The London Inn, located within our local award winning village of St Neot provides a friendly welcome, is dog friendly, has a large inglenook fire & a varied menu with delicious locally sourced food plus a great choice of beers. St Neot also boasts a famous church with historic stained glass windows & fantastic village farm shop which includes a cafe - with a huge array of products, including locally produced cakes & pasties ! Our Welcome Book (which is generally left on the cottage kitchen table for guests to find easily on arrival) lists recommended local places to eat, drink and visit, plus our online Guide Book (located within the Arrival Guide section of this listing) details additional recommended places of interest both local & further afield). Iconic Cornish towns such as Looe, Polperro, Boscastle, Charlestown, Fowey, Mevagissey and Padstow, plus the golden sandy beaches of Daymar, Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand and Whitsand Bay are all easily reached from Badgers Sett. The Cornish mining world heritage area is close by in the village of Minions and parts of the TV series Poldark were filmed locally on the Moor, both are great locations for country walks and cycling whilst taking in the atmospheric scenery.
