Description
Beautiful, restful, kingsize bed, ensuite room in family home. Start here for fabulous local walks or coast path stopover. The window seat has a wonderful view of Gerrans Bay towards Nare Head. We are 2 minutes from the beach, Plume of Feathers pub, Boat-house cafe; a short skip to famous Hidden Hut and Standard Inn. Gorgeous beaches of the Roseland, Gardens of Heligan & various NT properties within easy reach. Car free is possible, arrive by public transport. The room has level access. The space The Roseland is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The room is on the groundfloor just inside the main door. From the house you can walk for miles along the SW Coast Paths or choose circular routes in fabulous countryside. There are choices for meals out and a well stocked shop in the village. In the room there will be tea, coffee, milk. Cereal, fruit, bread for toast, butter and jam are provided for breakfast. We are flexible and your comfort is important, from drying rain soaked clothes to heating your pasty we are happy to help. There is a courtyard garden and a front garden if you wish to eat outside or just relax and watch the changing moods of the sea. For those with mobility issues the access is level and the shower is 'walk in' with various convenient handholds. Do get in touch if you would like to know more and we look forward to welcoming you to our family home in this beautiful part of Cornwall. Guest access You can be as quiet and private as you like. Our days are varied as we come and go but the room is self contained and just inside the main entrance. It is comfortable for eating, resting and sleeping and a great base for wonderful local walks or a coast path stopover with time to explore the beautiful area - you won't be disappointed. We are on hand to help and give local guidance. You might be here just to rest, to walk the coastal path in either direction, exploring the Roseland Peninsula or to attend a wedding or visit friends. Interaction with our guests is flexible but we want to make sure you have a happy and comfortable stay. You don't need to venture far, sit on the bench in the garden and enjoy the view perhaps, while everything the village has to offer is less than 2 minutes away - including the pub, shop, galleries and lovely Tatams Beach. Check out the range of eateries before you come - something for everyone. During your stay We can be busy but its up to you whether you would like space to be quiet and private or not. We are here to help with local knowledge etc and look forward to meeting our guests from all parts of the world and walks of life. Sometimes meals en famille may be available. Other things to note There is superfast broadband connection and aTV but we are happy to take out the TV if you prefer to just relax and read. This is a family house and there are quiet times and busier moments but its very possible for you to come and go as you please without seeing us at all. We ask for a 2 night minimum stay and if you are walking the SW Coast Path perhaps use this as a rest day or a chance to explore the many circular walks and local area.
