Description
The Old Mill is a beautiful 17th century stone former watermill set in lovely gardens on an organic smallholding with a stream, woods and meadows 9 miles from Aberystwyth and the beautiful Ceredigion coast. It's an ideal location for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists and those just wanting some peace and quiet. There are wonderful walks from the front door and the busy town of Aberystwyth with its seafront, shops, restaurants, cinemas and theatre is only 9 miles away . The space The Old Mill is an upside-down house with bedrooms on the ground floor. The property has two double bedrooms, one of which can be turned into a twin if preferred, and a large open plan living area complete with large wood-burner and fully equipped kitchen with separate dining area. There is a spacious bathroom with underfloor heating and a large, Victorian roll-top bath as well as a huge walk-in shower. Upstairs are comfortable sofas and chairs, TV and DVD player with a large selection of films. You have your own balcony with views of the garden, bridge and stream where it's great to sit in the morning watching the wildlife with a coffee. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, the owners cottage is located next door with shared access to the large 3 acres of garden and surrounding fields and meadows. Other things to note The Old Mill is located on a rural smallholding which features a stream running through the gardens and various chickens, ducks and wandering cats! There is no mobile phone signal down here but guests are welcome to use my landline if needed. Internet is good and I have just installed super fast broadband which is giving speeds of 25+ . Property is accessed via a track off the main road. Small children will need to be supervised because of the stream and balcony.
