The apartment is for 6 people on the second floor of a beautiful 16th century farmhouse located in Upper Salento. It consists of two double bedrooms, each with its own separate bathroom, and one sofa bed each. There is also a large living room with the old kitchen originally from the property, a large dining room, an additional bathroom and a modern kitchen equipped with every comfort. From the balcony that runs allaround the property you can admire a wonderful horizon. Two pools. The space In Alto Salento, in Sava in the province of Taranto, in the mysterious and fascinating Land of Messapi, Greeks, and Byzantines there is an Ancient Masseria immersed in the beautiful nature of the Apulian hinterland and surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive trees: the Masseria La Camardia denomination probably deriving from Comes Arduus. A beautiful and nostalgic vestiges that enhances millennia of history and traditions. The Masseria , whose first settlement dates back to 1500, insists on the place – the ancient Casale di Pasano, in which since the Messapian era (3500 years ago) arose the ancient Sava. The Casale di Pasano was already inhabited by the Greeks, the Romans and finally abandoned in 1300 in conjunction with the incursions of the Saracens. In the "Court" of the Masseria "La Camardia" insists and is usable by visitors a hypogeum of about 3500 years ago. La Masseria is a special accommodation structure in its extraordinary beauty, built in a local tuff with wide star and barrel vaults, furnished with style and refinement. It is located about 140 meters above crystal clear sea level and a short distance from the pristine beaches of the Ionio (from the Marina di Lizzano passing through Torre Ovo to Campomarino). The Masseria develops on two levels and the accommodation is located on the 1st floor with independent access. On the ground floor, the owners reside: Elisabetta and Tonio. The apartment consists of 2 large bedrooms, each with bathroom, 1 living room with double sofa bed, dining room and kitchen. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning (hot-cold), large terrace with panoramic view, including the kitchen. The terraces have a wrought-iron and bamboo cover that is a valid shelter from the summer heat and allows you to use them every hour of the day. Several proposals for sports and leisure are aimed at guests of the property. At the Masseria La Camardia complex you can enjoy a tennis court and a five football court in the latest generation synthetic grass. Also 200 meters from the accommodation but still inside the property, there is a semi Olympic-sized pool and a children's pool both with salt water and purified according to the most modern criteria, available to guests. The swimming pools and sports facilities are also used by guests who may be present in the 5 cottages located in a separate body of the structure (AIRBNB page "Casette Camardia"). Swimming pools are available from 15 May and until 30 October if weather conditions permit. For jogging lovers there is the possibility of making health routes within a green park with tall trees of more than seven hectares within which a children's play space has also been equipped. Finally, you can rent bicycles for beautiful walks surrounded by the green of the Mediterranean scrub and to reach the nearby beaches. At Masseria La Camardia you can also taste high quality food and wine products from neighboring companies that use local raw materials worked according to traditional methods: from extra virgin olive oil to the primitive wine of Sava and Manduria to the baked goods (tarallini, biscuits, friselle, wheat bread and pucce) and those coming directly from the Masseria garden depending on the seasons (peppers, melanzane, pagnottelle, tomatoes, watermelons and melons, etc.).
