Complete half-timbered house in Kittendorf in MV

In the middle of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - idyllically located and surrounded by forests and lakes – is our listed farm. The uniquely quiet location invites you to linger. The space Our vacation rentals are completely new and built in traditional solid oak timber construction and were completed in 2019. In the half-timbered house there are two adjacent apartments with separate entrances, which are completely separate. This description refers to the larger of the two apartments. The apartment has a living area of 65 square meters and can accommodate up to 4 people. It has a large bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together and an adjacent smaller bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms are located on the upper floor in two separate rooms. The stairs to the first floor are only accessible from the large bedroom, which means that you can only get to the stairs from the small bedroom through the large bedroom. On the first floor, there is a cozy sofa and it invites you to relax. Also on the first floor is a modern open kitchen made of solid oak with dishwasher and kitchen table. In the lower area there is also the bathroom with underfloor heating, partly handmade fixtures made of wood from our forests and with modern bathroom fittings and shower. Internet radio and free fast Wi-Fi (with up to 200 Mbit/s) are available. An HD flat-screen TV with Internet reception offers the possibility of video conferencing. Our apartments in the Bauernreihe were built with the aim of providing you with a pleasant and relaxing stay. We have paid particular attention to the needs of families and hunting guests. Safety is important when our hunting guests visit the Bauernreihe. Therefore, a gun cabinet was also installed in the large apartment in order to always store hunting weapons well and safely. From the point of view of sustainability and healthy construction, the walls and ceilings were plastered with clay. The ecological design ensures a pleasant living environment in the apartment. The wood used for the interior work all comes from our own forests and was handcrafted in our forestry operation. In addition to high-quality tiled floors, which particularly meet the requirements of hunting, the floors in the apartments have been made of solid oak and ash planks. This use of wood harmonizes particularly well with the traditional half-timbered construction made of oak wood. A stay in the large apartment in the Bauernreihe is possible without a bad conscience towards the environment, especially from the point of view of sustainability. We generate a large part of our electricity in our own photovoltaic system. The hot water is also heated with solar energy, and the wood gasification central heating system supplies you with heat from our Mecklenburg forests. From the row of farms, you can take very nice cycling and hiking tours and experience the original cultural and natural landscape. Kittendorf is located in Mecklenburg Switzerland and on the Mecklenburg Lake District with numerous excursion destinations and recreational opportunities. In the area, many gems, such as the Two-Wheeler Museum in Jürgenstorf, the oldest church tower bell in Mecklenburg in Kittendorf or the Fritz Reuter Literature Museum in Stavenhagen invite you to linger. The Slavic ring wall in Clausdorf is also worth a trip. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous manor houses, parks and castles.
