Charming guesthouse in idyllic country setting

Come and join us at Fialleix, with 12 hectares of beautiful wild forests and meadows. We offer your family a holiday in our 2 bedroom gite, enjoy the natural surroundings, swimming pool and kid friendly atmosphere, with arts and crafts in our atelier, farm animals and land to explore. The ancient red stone gite is set in the main pretty courtyard, with outside dining under the shade of the cherry tree. The gite is light and spacious with all basic amenities. The space Fialeix is for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and get away from a busy life. There is a double bed in each room and an additional single bed in one of the bedrooms. This property will suit children, we have just about everything from baby to child equipment, from cots, high chairs, outside toys, trampoline, painting and crafting activities. The swimming pool is shared with our family, but we will respect your time and privacy around the pool . It sits just off the main courtyard on the hillside with gorgeous country views. The guesthouse is ideally situated to explore the stunning Perigord area, with chateau Hautefort (6k), Montignac, Sarlat, and Perigueux all easily accessible for day trips. There are beautiful local river walks, canoeing and fantastic local restaurants to explore. Fantastic cycling and trekking from the doorstep. Our family with young children live in the main house next to the gite and are happy to show you the land and give you a taste of homestead lifestyle and share crafts/activities with children in our atelier. During July and August our main house will also be available to rent ; please see other listing if you wish to rent the whole estate. We will be available and living nearby but not using the swimming pool for those months. Please feel free to ask any specific questions so we can give you a feel of the place. Its important that the place is a right fit for you. We also have 2 friendly dogs, a cat in the atelier, 3 donkeys and goats- new friends for children to make! Guest access The gite is part of the court yard, there is a shared court yard garden but the gite has its own table seating. The swimming pool is shared with our principal home. We invite guests to enjoy our 35 acres of private land, with forest, meadows and walks .
