Guest access two comfortable lounges on two floors. breakfast buffet starts at 8:30 in one of the lounges. lounge on upper floor: large and very comfortable seating area with view, fire place, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, stove, professional coffee machine (espresso, latte macchiato, cappuccino and more…), beamer. lounge on lower floor (not always available): seating area, 82” tv, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, stove, professional coffee machine (espresso, latte macchiato, cappuccino and more…). access to rear terrace and garden with magnificent lake and mountain view. access to finnish hot pot. access to roof terrace with spectacular lake and mountain view. ask for grill (green egg). finnish outdoor hot pot with wood fire heating (no Jacuzzi). for each use 1400 litres of fresh water filled in; allow 4 hrs preparing time. up to 7 persons at a time. water remains comfortably warm for 6 hrs between 38c/100f and 34c/93f – multiple sessions possible for one group! chf 50 per filling. not always available, please ask on arrival. laundry machine and dryer available upon request. chf 5 per washing. free wifi. free parking on yellow parking fields. free coffee. free view. fridge at welcome desk with water, beer, soft drinks, wine; self service but not free… please put the appropriate amount in the box on the welcome desk. dinner (2 to 6 courses, chf 25-75 plus liquids) on terrace (very romantic!) or indoors (also romantic…) usually available if booked 1 day in advance. susan cannot always guarantee availability though – please ask. in this case you may ask for small dishes with home made bread for dinner. Other things to note check-in monday through saturday: check-in from 4 to 6pm. for check-ins later than 6pm self check-in is available. you will find instructions on the welcome desk. sundays: self check-in. you will find instructions on the welcome desk. cleaning staff is working between 12am and 4pm, your room is therefore not available before 4pm! but you can sit in the lounge and enjoy a delicious coffee or leave your luggage in the house and go for a hike. pick-up service available: monday through saturday 4 to 6pm. sunday 6 to 8pm. free from weggis ferry station only! other paid services upon request and not always available. check-out 12am latest cleaning starts at 12am, therefore your room has to be vacated by then. we take you to the ferry station from 10 - 12 am. pets allowed, extra charge chf 10 per animal per night. our house is situated about 100m above lake level on a steep hill. the house is built on three levels. we have no elevator. for each level there are 14 or more stair steps to climb – unfortunately not well suited for people with walking disabilities. activities june – september: go swimming in the lake! very clean water (drinking water quality!). 13 minutes on foot. all year round: walks directly to mt. rigi start at our door step – breath-taking in many ways ;-). in-house: bellicon with youtube screen for workouts. sailing with daniel. 29ft british classic boat. depends on weather, temperature and daniels work load. ask for it. no insurance, you need your own insurance coverage for this! you can find more informations on the internet under weggis tourism.
