Our fully converted manor farm Ferme Hay Day is located in a quiet area just 3km from the Omaha Beach landing beach (near Pointe-du-Hoc, the American Cemetery and Bayeux). We offer 3 spacious, modern rooms, including this double room with private bathroom. The room is on the ground floor and is accessible and adapted for disabled guests. You can have breakfast in a shared dining room, where use of a kitchen is possible. Many extras such as terrace and various outdoor spaces. The space This spacious double room in the former stable of our farm is cozy and modern furnished while maintaining original elements. The room has a double bed, armchairs, a desk and smart TV. Adding a crib is possible. The private bathroom (with toilet, sink and walk-in shower) has special adjustments and a wide passage (wheelchair accessible). The room has a private entrance. Breakfast is served in an adjacent shared breakfast/dining area. This space can be reached directly from the room (wheelchair accessible). The room price includes bedding, towels and breakfast. Guest access A fully equipped kitchen-living room/dining area comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Guests of our 3 rooms can make use of this. There is access to a terrace and many other outdoor spaces. Barbecue or a fire is available. With 5 ha of land, Ferme Hay Day also offers space for a small-scale campsite (open from April to October). Guests of the rooms can use the many camping facilities, such as our cozy bar (if open), various picnic benches and a jeu de boules court. We also have several farm animals. During certain periods and in consultation, we provide meals and pizza and ice cream is available. With us, it is possible to rent bicycles. During your stay We are a Dutch couple and have lived in Normandy since 2015. We speak French and English and are happy to show you around the area. In addition, you will find brochures with tips on places to see and activities in the B&B. Our B&B is very centrally located in relation to various historical and scenic places to see. Ferme Hay Day is located directly on walking and biking possibilities. Other things to note Pets are not allowed in our property. It is possible to store your horse with us, in a meadow on your own property or possibly in a box. In that case, please contact us in advance. A ride on horseback to the sandy beach takes about 40 minutes.
