Our completely renovated manor farm Ferme Hay Day is located in a quiet area just 3 km from the landing beach Omaha Beach (near Pointe-du-Hoc, the American cemetery and Bayeux). We offer 3 spacious, modern rooms, including this double room with private bathroom. The room is on the ground floor and is accessible and adapted for disabled guests. You have breakfast in a shared dining room, where use of a kitchen is possible. Many extras such as terrace and various outdoor spaces. The space This spacious double room in the former stable of our farm is cozy and modernly furnished while retaining original elements. The room has a double bed, armchairs, a desk and smart TV. Adding a crib is possible. The private bathroom (with toilet, sink and walk-in shower) has special adjustments and a wide passage (wheelchair accessible). The room has its own entrance. Breakfast is served in an adjacent shared breakfast/dining area. This space can be reached directly from the room (wheelchair accessible). The room price includes bedding, towels and breakfast. Guest access The shared breakfast/dining area has a fully equipped kitchen. Guests of our 3 rooms can use this. There is access to a terrace and many other outdoor spaces. Barbecuing or lighting a fire is possible. With 5 hectares of land, Ferme Hay Day also offers space for a small campsite (open from April to October). Guests of the rooms can use the many camping facilities, such as our cozy bar (if open), various picnic benches and a jeu de boules court. We also have various farm animals. In certain periods and in consultation, we provide meals and pizza and ice cream are available. With us, it is possible to rent bicycles. During your stay We are a Dutch couple and have been living in Normandy since 2015. We speak French and English and are happy to show you around the area. In addition, you will find brochures with tips on attractions and activities in the B&B. Our B&B is very centrally located in relation to various historical and scenic attractions. Ferme Hay Day is right on hiking and biking trails. Other things to note Pets are not allowed in our accommodation. It is possible to stable your horse with us, in a meadow on our own property or possibly in a box. In that case, please contact us in advance. A horseback ride to the sandy beach takes about 40 minutes.
