Park Cottage is set in the centre of the market town of Tiverton, Devon. It benefits from fantastic access into the town (2 minute level walk) yet it is peaceful and quiet, because it is located on a quiet road next to the Victorian Peoples Park. The cottage is surround by a walled garden and is one of only a handful of properties this close to the centre of town to be able to offer free off road parking for guests in a secure parking facility with CCTV (located just minutes from the property) The space Park Cottage is one of the smallest cottages in Tiverton on the oldest part of the Town, it is packed with charm and character, creaky floors, oak beams, wonky walls and low ceilings. The cottage is sandwiched between Peoples Park and the historic Tiverton castle, set on the site of an old apple orchard. The double bedroom, is super cosy with original 350 year old character oak beams, an adjustable bedside lamp, Dyson hot + cold fan, USB charging ports with wireless charging. Their is a wooden hanging wardrobe, a comfy reading chair and a wall mounted 32" Samsung SMART TV (perfect for catching up on Netflix boxsets before bed) BluRay-DVD player and 'retro' original playstation 1 console with classic platform games!! The property has FREE FAST WIFI and guests have fluffy towels, shower gel and a filling breakfast too! Shared (only with myself) you can enjoy a well equipped spa quality bathroom with deep bath and powerful shower. The cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard, everything is brand new, loads of smart features and gadgets, plus the cottage is packed with original features to make your stay comfortable. *** Please be aware though, due to the age of the property the stairs are very steep and this property would not suit anyone who has access/mobility issues or are unable to climb steep stairs with no hand rail *** N.B: All photos featured in the listing are originals from the owner and are not for reproduction. Guest access You can either park on the road (limited spaces available) or you can park in the dedicated parking bay for the property, which is located at the back of the property, this benefits from CCTV and is really safe, this car park is a short 2 minute walk from the property (details of this will be sent in your welcome pack email prior to arrival) During your stay This property is a shared property with just myself. I work full-time, however am available on phone 24 hours for any issues. During your stay I will be in and out of the property I do sleep their and the bathroom is shared (with guest priority access) The downstairs living space is accessible during your stay however their is no access to the kitchen for cooking etc. tea and coffee facilities are self serve, you may store limited items in the fridge. Loads of great local restaurants to eat at within 2 minutes from the property, of which you are welcome to eat at the 7 foot dinning table or go alfresco outside. ** Please note greasy food and takeaways must be eaten downstairs for the benefit of future guests, the property is non smoking. Other things to note In your bedroom you will have a welcome pack with details of the room and local area, recommendations on places to see and eat during your stay.
