Although located in the cosmopolitan Old Port – the center of Spetses' nightlife – it offers an unexpectedly quiet stay in a peaceful neighborhood, just 1,800 meters from the main port (Dapia). This way, you enjoy the perfect balance between privacy, easy access to the sea, and nightlife. The house is designed to offer ultimate comfort and relaxation. It has three well-kept rooms for 6 guests, while the traditional central living room area with the island's characteristic built-in sofas and the beautiful fireplace can accommodate 2 additional people. A fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to create your own meals. The house's greatest asset is its outdoor spaces overlooking the mountain, the large, cool courtyard surrounded by trees, flowers, and impressive, blooming bougainvilleas that steal the show. It offers complete privacy and has a spacious table, ideal for lunch, nice gatherings or your drink under their shade. In addition, the beautiful, large terrace is bathed in the morning light and is the perfect place to start the day enjoying your coffee and breakfast. In the evenings, all you will hear is the music gently floating in the air, while the quiet mornings are sweetly interrupted only by the birdsong and the sound of the fishing boats setting out to sea. Guest access From the main road Other things to note Our property is located in the most beautiful spot of Spetses, at the Old Port. Here beats the heart of the island: traditional tavernas with fresh fish, refined restaurants for every budget, bars and nightclubs are literally at your feet, offering immediate access to the famous Spetses entertainment. Our location hides a special beauty that offers a magical combination of nature, art and tradition. Walking from the house towards the historic grove of Panagia of Armata and continuing towards the Lighthouse, the visitor encounters a unique setting. The grove is surrounded by a beautiful, pine-covered courtyard. On this route, you will discover the wonderful open-air park with the famous iron sculptures by the great Greek sculptor Natalia Mela, culminating in her imposing mermaid that seems to tame the sea. A little further on, you will find an area with the historic cannons that were salvaged from the sea during the battle with the Turks for liberation, and the proud statue of the hero fireman Barbatsis. Your walk will take you next to the traditional "karnagia" of Spetses, one of the few that remain in Greece. There, naval history comes to life, as craftsmen continue to build wooden trechantiria in the same authentic way, unchanged over time. This street is one of my favorite places on the island. The sunset there is magical, as the view across the way shimmers with the lights of the boats and the shops reflected in the sea. In fact, if you visit us in the fall, with the first rains of September, the place is filled with cyclamens, creating a vibrant pink carpet like a painting. Especially if you find yourself here on the second weekend of September, you will experience the biggest celebration on the island: the reenactment of the historic Battle of Armata, with spectacular fireworks, concerts, and traditional dances that attract people from everywhere.
