The space Welcome to Our Beautiful Home in Scotland! Experience the charm and comfort of our spacious holiday retreat. Kitchen & Dining: Enjoy cooking in our fully equipped kitchen, complete with a large dining table and a separate pantry with a fridge/freezer. Living Spaces: Relax in the large sitting room with a TV, radio, and DVD player. Bask in the stunning views from our beautiful sunroom. Both the sunroom, hallway, and kitchen feature underfloor heating, while the rest of the house is centrally heated. Bedrooms: Bedrooms 1 & 2: Each has a double bed and en-suite with a shower. Bedroom 3: Cozy and perfect for kids, with two single beds. Bedroom 4: Located in the converted cellar, this room has a double bed. Please note, that the ceiling is low, making it ideal for shorter guests. Bathrooms: A separate bathroom and toilet are conveniently located on the ground floor. Pet-Friendly: We welcome your furry friends with a dog bed, bowls, and towels. Additional Amenities: A washing machine, dryer, and pull-out airer are available for your convenience. For families with young children, we provide a high chair, changing mat, and travel cot (please use at your own risk as there are no child locks on the cupboards). Stay connected with our Starlink internet system, offering download speeds above 100 Mbps. Outdoor Space: Guests have full access to the entire house and garden. Please note, that the barns next to the house are not part of the Airbnb. There is a pond behind the house and a burn running alongside it, which can fill up after rain. Guest access Guest have access to the whole cottage but we ask they stay out of the barns for their safety. As long as guests behave responsibly, they have right of access over land and inland water throughout Scotland (Right to roam). Other things to note We ask all guests to respect our home and the surrounding countryside. Although we are tucked away, the Starlink internet provides a super fast internet connection. Bailliesward's water is fed from a private water supply and is treated and regularly tested by Aberdeen Council. Although the water is filtered, it can retain a natural peat colour but remains to be safe to drink. The water is held in a tank therefore staggered use is advised for showering/bathing. All taps must be fully switched off after use. If taps are not turned off, water tanks will drain unnecessarily and may take time to refill. As we are in such a rural location, you may find frogs and ‘wee beasties’ have popped inside, please be assured that our cleaners will have left the property pristine and they will have found their way in just before your arrival.
