Edgar's at Goathill Farm

Welcome to Edgar's! Tucked in under the branches of a gorgeous ash tree and on the bank of a small lake, Edgar's is the perfect place to relax and recuperate. Edgar's all booked up? Check out our other shepherd's huts, Bill's or Tom's! Also avaliable to book all together to host up to 7 people. The space Tuck yourself up in the cosy bed, perhaps just peeking out the window to see the dabchicks diving under on the lake. Edgar's has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, and has plenty of nearby walks or cycle routes those with a bit more energy! Upon arrival there will be a small hamper of local goodies, which will vary dependent on season and may contain eggs if the chickens are laying well! Edgar's sleeps two in a double bed, and is complete with electricity, and single ring hob and fridge freezer. To keep you warm, there is a cast iron electric radiator. The loo, washing up and shower facilities are just about 20m away past the chicken run. These are shared with just one other shepherds hut. The hut does not have running water, however there will be water n the fridge on arrival and a water container provided to transport water from the washroom. Light up the fire pit for the evening, perhaps to cook yourself something tasty, or even just to toast some marshmallows! If you don't fancy al fresco cooking, the award winning fish and chip shop in the next village is always worth a visit, or many of the pubs in Sherborne. A trunkful of wood and kindling is provided by the hut, and then further is avaliable to buy from the store by the washroom. You will need to bring a torch, and wellies if wet weather - it gets muddy on the farm! If you're booking for a special occasion, let us know!
