Balaton Villa Home with View and private Pool

A truly special place just an hour from Budapest. A newly built "old house" with fully opening doors onto the huge patio overlooking Lake Balaton’s biggest bay. See wicked storms approaching over the lake, the always changing clouds and colours of the sky. Welcoming anyone who values this unique experience and the warm design of the house. Get away to the studio if you need to work while still enjoying this special atmosphere. Winter is also very special with breathtaking sunsets and a hottub. The space We usually approach the house through the magical stairway, but you can also access the house by car from another street if you need to. The ground floor is one common area with four opening sofa beds. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, stove, microwave, bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are two separate rooms. The main bedroom with a queen bed with a patio overlooking the lake. The other (kids) room have two single beds that both open into two queen size beds. If you do that though there is not much room left, just great for sleeping. There is also a common area upstairs with opening sofa beds for two adults. A bathroom with shower and tub, and a separate toilet. You are also welcome to use the work studio in the garden if you need to get away from the others every now and then. The studio also has high speed internet, heating and air-conditioning - and the view, of course. You will have the pool and the hot tub exclusively to yourself. We are living in the house, it is only available for a very limited time. We can be flexible though, so just send a message for specific dates to see if we can open it for you. We have our personal belongings in the house, but you will have enough space for your stuff. Also, we have two cats who like to hang out with our guests. During the summer they stay outside but if you have severe allergy this place might not be good for you. Guest access We have a huge garden with place to make a fire, lots of chopped up wood and a cauldron to use, bbq, hammock, big sand box, trampoline, toys for kids. The pool is heated by the sun (in nice weather around 30 celsius). If you come in good time during the summer you might pick some cherry tomatoes in the garden too. In winter times you can use the indoor fireplace. Other things to note Kids and infants: please note that the main patio does not have any rails, that might not be comfortable for some parents with small kids. We have had small kids and were happy here, have had friends with small kids, but it is obviously your responsibility. Also, the pool can be covered but kids must not fall on the cover.
