Guest house in Aubrac, La Source Gilhodes is located south of the future Regional Natural Park, a short walk from the Way of Saint James (Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac / Saint-Côme-d'Olt stage). Overlooking the Lot Valley and its sites classified as "most beautiful villages in France" (Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt, Estaing, Conques), the estate covers more than one hectare and enjoys a southern climate, as evidenced by its centuries-old olive trees. The space To the south of the estate, Les Boraldes is a charming house that can accommodate 4 to 7 people, fully restored in the pure Aveyron style. On the ground floor, the living room with living area (equipped with a pellet stove) and open kitchen, is extended by a south-facing terrace offering a breathtaking view of the Lot Valley and the sunset. A 160x190 sofa bed sleeps 2 people. On the other side is the hallway with wardrobe, separate toilet and shower room with jet shower. The floor opens onto a mezzanine offering a bed for 2 people (1 bed 180 x 200 or 2 beds 90 x 200). An extra child bed with barrier (150*90) is also available. From the mezzanine, you can access a vaulted room with a bed for 2 people (160 x 200) with a fireplace that has independent access. The gite has a private terrace with garden furniture and a private garden area of 70m². Guest access You will have access to an outdoor area with garden table, as well as common facilities of the guest house: swimming pool, jacuzzi (paying option) and games for children, veranda with its board games. Other things to note Recharge your batteries at La Source Gilhodes Once surrounded by vineyards where wine was produced for the monks of the high plateau, the farmhouse has been completely restored and transformed into a guesthouse with rooms, cottages, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi. A perfect starting point for exploring historical heritage, unspoiled landscapes, and outdoor activities for all ages, we welcome you for a few nights or a longer stay, whether with friends, as a couple, or with your family. In July and August, the cottage is rented exclusively from Saturday to Saturday. Outside of peak season, rentals are available for a minimum of two nights. The following optional extras are available for a fee: - Bed linen: €18 per person (fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillowcase, bolster cover, ironed linen, and beds made) - Towels: €6 per person (large towel, small towel, washcloth) - Jacuzzi: €10 per 40-minute session - Drinks, homemade products... prices available on site. End-of-stay cleaning is also included; you can save €80 if you clean it yourself: you will be responsible for cleaning the floors (vacuuming/mopping), bathrooms (showers/toilets), appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator, etc.), furniture, etc.
