The town is surrounded by an impressive 10 sq km forest with well-marked trails, popular with walkers and cyclists. The village has a market square lined with bars and a large, tranquille lake. Thursday is market day in Huelgoat, when local tradesmen and farmers come to sell their wares in the town square. It is an ideal place to pick up some local artisan cheese, charcuterie, or crafts. Please note that I have two dogs and two cats, if you suffer from allergies. The space This is a traditional bed and breakfast accommodation. There are no television or tea and café making facilities in the rooms. We do not have hotel facilities. There are no views. The rooms, however, are clean, comfortable and quiet - a bed and breakfast or café couette.
