Sunshine Shack - The Little Beach Shacks

Sunshine Shack; an original island shack from yester-year. Located a short two- minute walk from the Horseshoe Bay beachfront, shops, resturants, cafes, swimming enclosure and National Park walking trails. Sunshine Shack allows you to switch off, slow down and connect with yourself and the company you are with. A place that makes you feel like it is your very own island shack you are returning to. Embrace the island style way of living here at @thelittle_beachshacks Sunshine Shack. The space As the name suggests, The Little Beach Shacks 'Sunshine Shack' is a shack. Nothing fancy. Sunshine Shack is an original two bedroom island home from yester-year! Both bedrooms consist of: Queen size bed, clothes storage, ceiling fan and split-system air-conditioning. The kitchen is old-school but definitely sufficient with fridge/freezer, gas stove, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans and cutlery. A Webber bbq can be found outside. Tea, ground coffee, salt and pepper are provided, as well as a couple of additional extras to help you enjoy your island stay. I recommend any additional supplies be purchased from either IGA, FoodWorks or The Arcadia Store. There is a corner store down the street for basic groceries such as milk, bread, chocolate, eggs and ice-cream. Please note that the shower inside of the Sunshine Shack is a capsule style shower which is one step high off the ground. Sunshine Shack is best suited for individuals, couples, friends and families who are happy to embrace the relaxed island style way of living. The Little Beach Shacks is a duplex, one being Sunshine Shack and the other being Sava Shack. The two beach shacks have their own private gardens and sitting areas. Other things to note Please respect the check-in time of 2pm and the check-out time of 10am. Porta-cot is available on request. Sunshine Shack is not a beachfront property however is only a short 2 minute walk up the street and a across a footbridge to the foreshore. The nature of the location means that there are friendly uninvited resident animals and insects that come along with living on a National Park Island. This includes but is not limited to: Mowgli and his girlfriend are the two Bush Turkeys you will see combing the garden. Wallabies will often hop by for a drink in the pond and a nibble of the plants. Friendly finger sized Gekos are sure to be seen climbing on the walls inside and out, Skinks (lizzards) will occasionally slide by, miniture house ants are likely, frogs (mostly outside - just keep the doors closed to avoid them hopping in) and small spiders. Oh! and if you hear a grunting noise, that's a Koala looking for a date. As mentioned earlier, Sunshine Shack is a place to disconnect. For some phone providers, phone and data reception is limited on Magnetic Island including the property. Communication can be disrupted. Please revise check-in instructions before hand.
