The space COVID VACCINATION POLICY As private temporary accommodation providers we have a strict double vaccination policy for Health and Safety purposes that applies to all guests, visitors, suppliers of services, and of course ourselves. For Covid tracing purposes we shall keep records, and expect guests to do the same for any visitors. FEATURES THAT OUR GUESTS LOVE An ideal , quiet, luxurious couples retreat, or suitable for two individuals traveling as companions. Located as a detached private space to the rear of the Villa with approx. 70 sqm of indoor & covered outdoor living, including two dedicated landscaped garden areas (See plan in photos). Set well back from the road, reducing any traffic noise. The complex comprises two main buildings, joined by a wide covered all weather walkway in the fully fenced (child safe) courtyard garden, a minor building contains the separate Guest Laundry. Building one contains the Queen bedroom suite with half-bathroom and dressing room area and built in luggage rack, plenty of storage in the bathroom vanity unit , heated towel rail & mirror cabinet. Good air circulation, windows have insect screens. Romantic adjustable mood lighting and a flame effect fire ( able to provide mood lighting without heat). The Freeview TV opposite the bed also takes DVDs. The second building contains the living unit. Inside, the kitchen features a ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, under bench oven and quality appliances, a dining table for 4-6 (sufficient crockery & cutlery for 6), lounge area, and a full bathroom. For entertainment there is a Smart TV with soundbar. Outside, the deck has a shade sail, Weber BBQ, outdoor dining table, outdoor settee and additional pull out privacy screen. The garden has two folding canvas chairs. Overall there is comfortable accommodation for up to 3 adults (couple plus single), up to 4 if bed settee in lounge area is extended and used for short periods, or used for children sharing. Extra guests/children over 2yrs $35 per night. Not recommended for 4 adults for more than a night or two. The property gets all-day sun making it warm and cosy in winter. Heaters and cooling fans are provided to meet seasonal needs. Just 1 min stroll along the waterfront takes you to a sandy cove with good safe swimming a couple of hours either side of high tide. Keep to right of stick marker and best to wear reef shoes at most beaches along the coast. Scoping the cove at low tide will show safe ground. A pretty stream runs along our farm boundary. Parking for a runabout is possible without charge, but must be booked in advance to ensure availability. A mooring opposite the property is also available up to 11m vessel (additional cost and must be booked) The property is bordered to North and East by a farm that has a kiwi population. To the South can be seen the soaring rock outcrops of the Heads. To West is the bay and harbour, over which we see spectacular sunsets. A short drive of 5min to Parua Bay shops ( 4 Square, Bakery, Bottle store, Pizzeria), 3min to Cafe in the bay and fabulous takeaways. . Lots of interesting walks and short excursions to Ocean Beach etc. Bus stop opposite. Lovely children's playground close by. All detailed in our comprehensive guest compendium. For those planning a boating holiday, a registered 12m mooring located directly off the property is available and must be booked separately. Other things to note Special offer most off peak weekends for early check-in on a Friday, late check-out on Sunday. Discounts available for stays of 5 nights or more and for low season Monthly stays, longer stays please contact owners. Consumable amenities including Olive Oil are a starter pack for 2 nights only (toilet paper, compliant hand sanitiser and body wash excepted) . Guests must supply their own for longer stays. Cottage is not serviced during stay. For stays longer than 5 nights additional cleaning and linen change can be arranged by prior arrangement at an extra cost.
