Read through Description before booking. This pavillion is a wing of the mainhouse. It fits for group travellers or a small group meeting of max 6 pax in 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, WiFi. Bedrooms are with AC, common room are not. The space The heart of Airbnb lies on the genuine hospitality offered to guests, not on the low price side. Read the following FAQs before inquiring, esp. for first time user: MOST suitable for: •Anyone who love tropical design house with a lot of opening to the green garden •Anyone who love to be in a green and neat neighborhood with the least traffic problem in chaotic Jakarta •Anyone who appreciate locality (food & people) and even the noisy call from the mosque •Anyone who love to get insider’s travel tips and get the feeling of knowing someone in foreign land •Anyone travel on business who requires to move around Jakarta (te proximity to highway access be your advantage) •Anyone who need a tranquil escape to do their writing, research or simply a personal contemplation NOT suitable for: -Anyone who are after a fully air conditioned unit or 5 star hotel-like luxury and unwilling to embrace locality -Anyone who are a light sleeper -Anyone who are after bars and nightlife spots. No alcoholic drinks is served at Nilaya or sold around the neighborhood -Family with children under 3 yo. From 3 yo onward, children are counted as 1 full person. Please type the correct number of person when booking -People with disability and severe illness -Anyone who like to bargain From airport: •Airport buses, directly go to Rawamangun Bus Terminal where I will pick you up if you text me. Available up to 9 pm, 45-60 min, fare: IDR 40k =USD EUR 3 •Regular taxi : Bluebird or Express, fare: IDR 145-200k (depends on traffic), pay at the end. •Application based transport: Go-Jek (click Go-Car), Grab (click Grab-Car), pay cash in front, fare: as shown on your smart phone screen. I would suggest this application based-transport as most drivers are polite, more reliable than taxi driver and do not mind to go extra mile to get you to your destination. •Private pick up: for a group of max 6, available upon advance request. My colleague Hatta can pick you and/or drive you around Jakarta. He speaks English and German. Airport transfer: IDR 325k one way. Car rent + driver rate: negotiable. Timing (in normal traffic) and Distance: •International Airport (CGK) : 45 min, 25 min after 10 pm, 38 km, 30 miles. •City centre/business districts: 18 min, 8 km, 5.5 miles. •Domestic Airport (HLP) : 12 min in normal traffic, 9 km, 6 miles. •Intercity Train Station: 22 min, 9 km, 6 miles. •Ring road for quick access around Jakarta: 1 km, 0.7 miles. •En suite or shared showers? Shared among guests (not with host). Has it been a problem? NEVER. The double showers free anyone from queuing. For the privacy of female guest, a bathrobe is supplied in each room. For long term guests -Long term rate is already lowered, it is unnecessary to ask for further reduction. Rate is as quoted by Airbnb. -With the already lowered price, breakfast is excluded for those who stay more than a week. -Maximum stay should not exceed the expiry date of your visa/permit. •Is there any kitchen that I can use to cook? Yes there is; however kitchen is suitable for making simple meals only like omelets, sandwich, noodle. The kitchen is NOT SUITABLE for Chinese, Indian, Arabic cooking that requires frying, boiling and chopping. •Hair dryer, iron and ironing board are available but not washing machine. A 24h low cost express laundry service is available: around USD 1 per kg of dry clothes! Clothes are returned clean and neatly ironed. It saves your time a lot. • May I have your phone number or email? May I pay on arrival? May I see your place first? NO need as AIRBNB BLOCKS IT AUTOMATICALLY. Instead of asking for a visit, learn to trust your host from pictures and reviews. Reviews is meant to guide others. This is why you are expected to leave a review at the end of your stay • Do I have to tip you? Not necessary. Kindly leave me a review on Airbnb as you check out. That's all. Reviews are expected from both of us to guide other travelers. Guest access Guests are free to access common facilities such as shower rooms, kitchen, TV lounge, backyard and front yard garden and veranda. Guest area is connected to the host’s residence by a connecting door. Other things to note ! The mosque behind Nilaya calls for prayer 5 times a day, a typical loud call you hear in any moslem dominated country. The earliest one is at 4 am. During the fasting month and religious holiday, there will be Quran recitation. There is nothing we can do with such “noise” in this Muslim dominated country. Instead of finding it noisy and intrusive, I hope you can take it as part of your cultural immersion. ! Nilaya is not suitable for children under 3 yo. Suitable outfit for ladies: a short sleeves T-Shirt (covering shoulder and breast) and a knee-lenght pants or medium shorts (5 cm above the knee).
