The Garden Room, Hawk Hill

The Garden room is a light, bright & airy self contained room with an en-suite shower room. There is a welcome tray with kettle, tea, coffee, milk & hot chocolate for your arrival and a TV. The french doors open onto a decked area where guests are welcome to relax, listen to the sea and enjoy the fresh air and tranquility of the Highlands. Breakfast is not included. Please note this is not a hotel and it is not self catering, it is a self contained ensuite bedroom in our home. The space From Hawk Hill it is just a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Rosemarkie beach with it's cafe, recently voted in the Guardian as one of the top 10 best seaside cafes and restaurants in the UK. The Fairy Glen RSPB nature reserve with it's beautiful walks and waterfalls is a 3 or 4 minute walk. Chanonry Point, famous for it's dolphins is a comfortable 20 minute stroll and for golf lovers The Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club (The 15th recorded oldest golf club in the world) is a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. There are super eating places locally, Crofters is a 5 minute stroll away overlooking the Moray Firth to IV10 and the Anderson in Fortrose High Street, both a 15 minute walk. At the bottom of Courthill Road one can see the Plough Inn opposite which serves drinks only. At the bottom of the drive it is worth spending a few moments taking in the beautiful views across the Moray Firth to the Chanonry Point lighthouse and hills beyond. Guest access Drive through double gates and park to the right of the drive next to the flower bed and before the stone wall.
