The Hut

The Hut is a great little Studio Cabin set less than 60 metres from a quiet stretch of the Murray River. The Hut is a modern self contained well appointed cabin, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just 10 minutes drive from Mathoura, 40 minutes to the bustling tourist hubs of Echuca/Moama, 30 minutes to the Ute Muster Capital, Deniliquin and 2 kms from the amazing Timbercutter cafe bar function venue. The Hut is surrounded by nature, expect kangaroos and birdlife at your door. The space The Hut is a studio-style cabin, recently renovated after the 2022 October floods. The space includes a full kitchen, dining area, sofa bed and bed as well as a separate bathroom. It's the perfect place for a couple, but the sofa can be folded out for kids or a close friend. The north-facing verandah has views of the nearby river and is a beautiful sunny spot to sit in winter or pleasant shady place to watch the wildlife in summer. Guest access You'll have the whole cabin to yourself. The Hut is self-contained with a full kitchen and utensils plus a BBQ outside. You can dine inside or outside on the verandah in the peaceful surrounds. The driveway is next to the Hut on the right of the building as you drive down Trent Road. Other things to note Pets are welcome. Please note: the river is very close and there is no fence between the house and the river, so if young children or pets are travelling with you, please keep this in mind. There is not an enclosed area for pets, they will need to be on a lead.
