If you ever wanted to know what it’s like to live like royalty, this 17th century fort just around 100 kms from Jaipur built by Thakur Ganga Singh, now home to his descendant Thakur Giriraj Singh Lotwara is just right. Built on 52,300 sq ft of land, it’s a fine example of traditional Rajput architecture. The boundary wall, main porch, rooms built around a courtyard, Kachehri (court) which is still used to meet common people of the village and Chhatries make it a complete Rajputana residence.
