If you ever wanted to know what it’s like to live like royalty, this 17th century fort just around 100 kms from Jaipur built by Thakur Ganga Singh, now home to his descendant Thakur Giriraj Singh Lotwara is just right. Built on 52,300 sq ft of land, it’s a fine example of traditional Rajput architecture. The boundary wall, main porch, rooms built around a courtyard, Kachehri (court) which is still used to meet common people of the village and Chhatries make it a complete Rajputana residence. The space It has 4 heritage suites. Every single suite is unique in design and comes with AC and attached bathrooms. More suites can be made available for larger groups. We can accommodate a group of 16-18 people easily. Please send us a message with total number of people and rooms required to avoid overpaying. The meals are provide from the family kitchen on nominal extra cost. During your stay You will be hosted by Thakur Giriraj Singh Lotwara, who is a highly learned person with special interest in history. Socially very active he also is the President of Shri Rajput Sabha, Rajasthan. A talk over evening tea with him can give you an insight to the culture and lifestyle of Rajasthan and Rajputana clan. His son Kunwar Lokendra Singh is a proud youngest Sarpanch of Rajasthan, probably of India also. Other things to note The meals are provide from the family kitchen on nominal extra cost.
