Yellow Flat by GrazRentals Vaulted Kitchen & Pet Friendly & Free Parking

Description

42 m², up to 4 guests, ground floor. Pets welcome. The yellow flat offers something no other apartment in the house can: a fitted kitchen beneath a historic vaulted arch, an antique farmhouse table, and an original grain chest as wardrobe. Old-world character meets modern comfort — in a listed heritage villa directly opposite the University of Graz. Private parking in the courtyard included. Fast WiFi. Bakery for your breakfast right in the building. Check-in 24/7 via keypad — no key needed. The space Imagine sitting at an antique farmhouse table beneath a vaulted arch, your coffee brewing — from the capsule machine or the filter, whichever you prefer — and through the window you see the entrance to the University of Graz. That's the yellow flat. An apartment that combines old-world character with modern comfort, and with this vaulted kitchen offers something no other apartment in the house can. The original food storage cupboard serves as a wardrobe, the farmhouse table as a dining table — everything authentic, nothing imitated. In the evening you retreat to the bedroom, which looks out onto the quiet inner garden of Villa Markhof — no street noise, just greenery. You'll sleep in a box-spring bed (180×200) with a pocket-spring mattress and fresh, high-quality bed linen. When you wake up in the morning and hear the birds in the garden, you'll forget for a moment that you're right in the middle of Graz. In the living kitchen there's a pull-out sofa bed (160×200) that comfortably accommodates two more guests — with a smart TV and a view of the university. The kitchen itself has everything you need for a longer stay: an oven, a 4-burner ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, and both a capsule and a filter coffee machine. And if you don't feel like cooking — the Sorger bakery and café with fresh rolls and good coffee is in the same building, just one minute away. In the bathroom you'll find a shower, a hairdryer and a washer-dryer combo — so there's no need to bring extra laundry from home. Fresh towels, an iron and an ironing board are of course included. The yellow flat is the only apartment in the house where pets are welcome — please make sure to let us know when booking, as additional deep-cleaning charges may apply. The ground-floor location also makes the apartment ideal for guests with heavy luggage or limited mobility. Fast WiFi works throughout the entire apartment, and we're happy to provide a cot and a highchair on request. On the same floor you'll find the white flat — if you're travelling with a second family or a larger group, you can book both apartments side by side. That way you're together, but everyone has their own privacy. The large, shared garden of the villa is yours to enjoy anytime — for relaxing, reading, or simply soaking up the quiet. Zinzendorfgasse with its restaurants, cafés, student bars and small shops is a three-minute walk away. Public transport is two minutes on foot — bus lines 31, 41 and 63 stop at Uni-Mensa and Uni-ReSoWi. From there you'll reach the main train station or the city centre in just a few minutes. On foot, you can get to the city park and the Botanical Garden in ten minutes and to Graz's historic centre in a quarter of an hour. Graz airport is about 25 minutes away by car. Graz is a UNESCO World Heritage city, a City of Design and a Culinary Capital — and you're staying right in the heart of the villa district, in one of the most beautiful parts of the city. Guest access We don't use keys — which means you can't lose one either. The front door has a fixed code lock; your apartment has a Nuki code lock with a numeric keypad. Before your arrival you'll receive two separate codes by email — one for the front door and one for your apartment. This way you can check in at any time of day or night without waiting for anyone. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Your own secured parking space is in the courtyard — marked with your apartment's colour name. You'll receive detailed driving and entrance instructions with the check-in email. If you're arriving by public transport: From the main train station take bus line 63 directly to Uni-Mensa. From Jakominiplatz take line 31 to Uni-ReSoWi — both stops are just a 2-minute walk from us. If you're arriving by bicycle, there's a bike parking area in the courtyard. Other things to note The living kitchen faces the street — with the window open, Schubertstraße is audible. The bedroom faces the other way onto the quiet inner courtyard. The apartment is on the ground floor. The windows are fitted with security bars, an added layer of protection that gives a good sense of security. There are two steps at the house entrance. There's a guest registration form on the kitchen table in the apartment — please fill it in and leave it there when you check out. This is a legal requirement in Austria for all overnight guests.
