Gypsea Inn is conveniently located centrally in Haida Gwaii providing easy access to both north, east & south island. Natural light fills this space which features three skylights. Enjoy sunsets and weather watches across this ever changing aquatic landscape. Private entrance, kitchenette/ dining area, 3pc shower bath. Loft includes queen bed and single sofa bed. Please note Bloodhound on premises see pic The space Gypsea Inn was originally built in 1966 and was extended through the years until about late 70's/ early 80's. I have owned Gypsea Inn for now eight years and have invested six years of energy renovating this once hunting lodge with the goal of maintaining the original natural materials at every opportunity. The space was refreshed again in the spring of 2025. My intention is to offer a relaxing Haida Gwaii experience while sharing a little of the story of Gypsea Inn and the spirit of our islands. Reflect and plan your adventures with views of the Masset Inlet featuring sunsets and mists on the distant mountains. View eagle activities close up from the loft which includes a queen bed and twin sofa bed facilitating sleeping for maximum of 3 guests in this open space. Featuring high ceilings and skylights on the main level, little birds can often be closely viewed undisturbed in their natural environment from the dining table. The well laid out kitchenette includes an island and a 3 piece shower room also located on this main level. Trails, beach access and amenities are within walking distance of your separate entrance which is accessed through the yard/garden area. Our local Bayview store offers grocery, liquor, gift and miscellaneous household items. The recently renovated Axe & Anchor Pub/Restaurant offers inviting meals with indoor/outdoor waterside dining and occassional musical entertainment.
