Great value budget double in the Catlins

Budget double room with lots of share bathrooms. Full linen provided and at the end of the hallway, there is a tea and coffee nook. Also a TV lounge. Lodge includes a large games room with free pool table and darts, large guest kitchen and separate dining room. Great sunrooms to relax and keep warm. Free WIFI, free BBQ and DVD hire. Just 150 metres to the local Isite office and local pub while the supermarket is about 300 metres walk. Other things to note We run a coal fired boiler so we only have hot water morning and night. So from around 7.30am until 10.30am and then again from 6pm until 10pm, approximately. After these times, the water slowly cools off. Reception is not always manned but there are signs at reception and in rooms with lots of details. We live on site for emergencies if we are not at reception or housekeeping. The lodge is a former hospital, over 100 years old and very large. Lots of space. Some guests love us and some do not.
