TRILBY STATION - Mitch's Hut

Mitch's Hut, the newest edition to our accommodation here at Trilby Station, our 320,000 acre sheep and goat station by the Darling River in Outback NSW. Featuring a large north facing verandah to catch the winter sun and a campfire pit facing sunset, this one bedroom fully self contained cottage has reverse cycle air-co, TV, washing machine and a Weber BBQ on the deck. Suitable for couples only. The space We are an Outback NSW working sheep and goat station of 230,000 acres, situated on the Darling River between Louth and Tilpa. Guest access Enjoy self guided mud map tours of the vast station, canoeing, fishing, yabbying, birdwatching, walking trails and observing seasonal station activities. Other things to note Google maps is notoriously unreliable in the Outback, so please look at a roadmap or ask Liz for directions. Getting to Trilby Station from either Wilcannia (south-west) or Louth (north east) is along the Darling River with the choice of going along the western or eastern side of the river. These roads are both similar – and neither is all weather. If there has been rain please check road conditions before heading off. Roads will close with rain – if the road to Trilby Station is closed, so are we! Do Not use a GPS – directions to Trilby Station ARE NOT ACCURATE. Trilby Station is on the western side of the Darling River between Louth and Tilpa. There are bridges at both Louth and Tilpa. Our address is Trilby, 10965 Toorale Road Louth NSW 2840 … though the actual spot Google takes you could be approximately one km from our mailbox/billboard on the Toorale Road. Your navigation system may try to lead you through the paddocks to us, this is totally incorrect.
