This house is DIRECTLY across the road from the park & Bronte beach. Bronte is a protected cove and is beautiful all year round. The house is open plan living, big bedrooms. Good aircon/ heating. Wide, sunny verandah. Barbecue area & protected, private little garden & lawn. Beautiful bird sanctuary. Garage suitable for a medium sized car. Guests love staying at this house; check out the reviews. The space This house is just across the road from the park and beach, with cafes 150 metres away. It is quiet and serene (except for possible building noise!) and you can see and hear the surf. View from every room! Great getaway, yet close to the city and only a few minutes to Bondi Junction. Really spacious. Great for kids. High chair (s), kiddie car, proper cot, portacot, baby bath, baby monitor, books, colouring books and toys provided. Wide verandah. A nice daybed, with a heater above it, to hang out on whilst kids play in the garden or on the verandah. Barbecue area and outdoor dining table. Please note: Garage suitable for small/ medium sedan only. Guest access Upstairs there is a large king sized master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with spa bath, and another large bedroom with twin beds. Lovely outlook. View from every room, including the ensuite. Electric blankets. Good air con/ heating. Both upstairs bedrooms open out onto a private verandah and an ocean/ district view. The 3rd bedroom downstairs is well away from the other two rooms and has a Queen sized bed (electric blanket) and it's own sitting area. Downstairs in a second bathroom as well as a private outdoor Bali style hot shower. Well equipped kitchen, open plan double sized living room, dining room, verandah, outdoor bar-b-que and dining area. Heating/ aircon throughout. Off street parking in a remote controlled garage large enough for a small/medium sized car. Just across the road and down the stairs to Bronte Park, playground and beach. Only 150m down the road to the Bronte cafe strip and bus stop. Other things to note Living in Bronte is a lifestyle choice. Whilst there are a number of good dining destinations, there's no beachfront pub, so, it's very nice residential 'low key' living, with plenty of action nearby if you want it. The Bronte Cafe strip is about 150m down the street, with a variety of options including a fish and chip shop, a convenience store and several cafes. Bronte village centre is the 'top shops' with more cafes plus take away food shops, a fine dining restaurant, a vegetarian restaurant plus other ‘alternate’ food outlets, news agency, medical centre, pharmacy, the famous ‘Iggy’s’ bakery, fruit shop, liquor store. The closest 'locals' are two pubs (with good restaurants) up at Charing Cross ('Charro'), easily accessible if you want to go out for a drink. Charro has everything else you might want; hair salons, nail salons, more health food, chicken shop, massage, post office, banks, gift stores, clothing shops, ‘Vinnies’ thrift store. Bondi Junction rail interchange and big shops (Westfield, supermarkets) are just a few kilometres drive away, or a short bus trip. It's safe and quiet around the house since there's no pub at the beachfront! Bronte is mainly a family area, with great outdoor activities and facilities for kids. This house is particularly good for kids as there is a lot of open space and outdoor areas. High chair, toys, Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, SBS on demand and kids Dvds provided. The house is situated directly across the road from the steps leading down to the playground. The house is well insulated: warm in winter and cool in summer. There's a wide verandah right round. If it's a bit chilly, there's an outdoor heater over the daybed, so you can still sit out and listen to the ocean. The house is cool in summer ( wide verandah, sea breeze) and toasty warm in winter. The master suite is airconditioned/ heated and the whole downstairs has air conditioning/ heating too. The house is well set up for when the weather is cool with a heated towel rail in the ensuite, very effective heating/ aircon and electric blanket on the master bed. The garden is a mini native bird sanctuary. Lorrikeets, magpies, kookaburra and currawong come to feed and bathe in the bird baths. Many of them are tame and look forward to being hand fed ( for your own pleasure but not essential; they are capable of foraging for themselves).
