The space Perfect for celebrating any special occasion or just for a holiday, the cottage is a wonderful place to relax as well as the perfect base for exploring the Barossa. Many guests comment it is a welcome "home away from home" if they are travelling for an extended period, and love the peacefulness and privacy. The cottage is self-contained and the tariff includes cooked and continental breakfast provisions, a bottle of local wine, local produce for grazing platter, Nespresso coffee, teas and other goodies, complimentary wi-fi. & Netflix. The carpeted lounge is cosy with quality soft furnishings, open wood fire in winter, Bose sound systems, recent magazines and LED TV with a selection of CDs and DVDs as well as Chromecast and Netflix. The bedroom offers a king bed with crisp white linens and the adjoining large ensuite bathroom offers underfloor heating and heated towels in winter, a double rain shower and deep rainwater claw foot bath with views to the vineyards. Indoor and outdoor kitchenettes with Scanpan cookware, Global and Wusthof knives and all crockery and cutlery plus much more, ensures guests can prepare their own meals if desired. Gas bbq and outdoor heater. There is heating and cooling throughout as well as an open wood fire in the winter months. If you are looking for a larger space to stay with more guests we also have Seppeltsfield Vineyard Retreat accommodating up to 6 guests on the same property. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the cottage and their own private gardens surrounding it. Guests can walk through the neighbouring vineyards to Fino retaurant (10 minutes) and Hentley Farm restaurant right next door to us is a short 5 minute stroll on our private path. They are also welcome to explore the 25 acre property, helping themselves to any fruits and vegetables in season (including figs, pomegranites, quinces, apples, cherries, plums etc) and say hello to our friendly alpacas. Only the driveway and walking paths are shared with guests in our other accommodation but there is plenty of space between to ensure your privacy. Other things to note Very occasionally and depending on the season there may be work required to be done in the vineyard. This is always worked around a guest's stay where possible and rarely impacts on our guests because we usually have control over this. Having said that, guests are often intrigued and interested in what needs to be done in the vineyard and enjoy speaking to us about what it's like to have a vineyard and grow grapes. The main house on the property is also rented as accommodation but is far enough away and divided by expansive gardens to not impact your stay.
