Hillgrove Cottage - The Verandah Room

Hillgrove Cottage is a bed and breakfast located within walking distance of the centre of Armidale NSW. Hosted by Helen, Hillgrove Cottage provides accommodation in an historic cottage that was relocated from the town of Hillgrove over 100 years ago. Hillgrove Cottage offers great service, a home away from home, and is one of Armidale's only pet friendly places to stay. Ideal for short term stays. This room is pet friendly. The space Hillgrove Cottage Verandah Room has one queen size bedroom with shared lounge and bathroom (however I only ever take one booking at a time so you will not be sharing with strangers). The house is over 100 years old and offers original features such as the ball and claw bath, and fire. The fireplace keeps the house nice and cosy during the cooler months, but all rooms include ceiling fans and heaters to keep you comfortable all year round. Guest access You have access to the large bathroom (which has a claw footed bath with the shower overhead), lounge and dining areas. During your stay The owner of the property lives on site in a completely separate part of the house, but is on hand if required to answer any queries guest may have. The kitchen area is also used by the owner to prepare meals. Breakfast will be provided at the time that suits you each morning. Other things to note We've gone to a lot of effort to make the accommodation a home away from home. There are lots of little touches to give the place a certain style. While it is pet friendly, unfortunately it's not kid friendly and would best suit mature travelers looking for accommodation. Registration details PID-STRA-2381
