Mountain view apartment

The property enjoys a unique location on the hills above the river Sava and surrounded by vineyards and forest. It is a very quiet and peaceful location, beautiful and safe with spectacular views over the valley. It is remote, yet it is only a 10 minute drive (6km) to the town of Sevnica which has a number of supermarkets, a train station, restaurants and a castle. Hiking and biking are from the door step. Fishing is nearby too. Both Ljubljana and Zagreb are within easy reach by car and train. The space The apartment has 2 rooms, is furnished with antique and shabby chic furniture in pleasant and calming colors. It easily sleeps 3 persons, but an extra bed is available. On hot summer days it is pleasantly cool inside as the apartment is on the ground/basement floor and partially built into the mountain side hence the bedroom window is high.On colder days both electric heating and a wood stove provide a cosy atmosphere. There is a small modern kitchen unit with cooking facilities, a fridge, microwave, kettle. Outside is a fireplace that can be used for BBQ and plenty of seating. The place has a modern shower with hot and cold water. The toilet is in the same building but the access is from the outside terrace next to the front door. Guest access The top part of the house and the top garden is private, but the lower garden with the vineyard and orchard is available. The garden continues into the surrounding forest with plenty of walking opportunities. There is a private drive where a car can be parked.
