This is an ideal base from which to enjoy Hikkaduwa, in a leafy village environment. The space This is one of 4 purpose-built self-catering apartments. Located opposite a beautiful cinnamon field, it's just a 15minute walk or a short scooter ride to the Narigama area of Hikkaduwa beach. This apartment is upstairs and has a large balcony with 2 lounging day-beds, a swing chair, and a breakfast bar. From the balcony you can enjoy views of the garden and cinnamon field which the sun sets over. Large bedroom with super-king sized bed, mosquito net, Air conditioning and fans, desk and wardrobe..large windows look out onto the cinnamon field which the apartment is named after. Spacious modern semi-open air en-suite bathroom, you can watch the stars and fireflies at night, and shower in the sunshine! Private kitchen with breakfast bar, gas/electric hob, fridge-freezer, and cooking equipment. The garden is shared with the other guests and is a great place to relax by the pool and sunbathe, we also have a shaded Chill out area in the front garden with extra seating. There is space to park scooters and to park a small car outside the property. Please note that these apartments are designed for 2 adults sharing rather than families. For that reason amongst others, we only consider taking children and infants in certain circumstances where we think it can work. Please consult with us before booking if you're travelling with a child, thank you. Guest access Guests will have their own balcony, and use of the garden and pool area (shared with other guests.) During your stay We are friendly sociable people and one of the things we love about Air bnb is meeting people from all over the world-we are happy to spend time with you and we also understand that you need your own space and privacy, as do we. We live in a new place directly behind the apartments and are available whenever (resonably) necessary in the daytime in person or on the phone. We are very happy to offer advice and help with planning trips. Other things to note -We are situated in a green leafy area so be aware that you are likely to see lots of insects, geccos and other wildlife. If you have unwanted visitors in your room let us know at a reasonable time and we can try to help you. - Please check first if you wish to bring outside guests as we need to consider all guests privacy and space before doing so, thank you. -There are ongoing power cuts throughout the country so if you're working remotely the wifi will continue with our inverter, but it's a good idea to come with a mini router and local SIM as signal can drop at these times. Please note that while we provide fiber internet, the connection cannot be guaranteed at a western standard at all times- if it isn't working let us know and we will contact the SLT offices and do our best to help, but if high speed is an essential, it's worth adding a data package to your SIM for peace of mind. We are not set up as a co-working space. -Please make sure you're clear on our location before booking. It isn't beachfront, and you may wish to hire a scooter or bicycles during your stay.
