Tilberthwaite Lodge-spacious, pet free, ramp entry

Tilberthwaite Lodge is a short stroll from the shore of Windermere on the popular White Cross Bay holiday park. With ramp access and parking for 2 cars it is in a quiet cul-de-sac location. There is lake access for water based activities and amenities on site - pool, activities, etc. a one-off fee is payable on site. Spacious open plan kitchen/living area with recliner sofas, well equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine and dishwasher. A decked outside area with furniture and views to distant fells. The space Tilberthwaite Lodge lodge is pet free and is furnished to a high standard with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable furnishings including recliner sofas in the living area. There is a further dining table and seating outside. Sleeping accommodation comprises a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a second double bedded room and a further twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom, with shower over bath. Bed linen and towels (including tea towels) are provided. Please bring beach towels for use on the garden sofa set and at the lake. The lodge has ramp access so is ideal for those with prams or who struggle with stairs as it is all on one level inside. The shore of Windermere is a short almost level walk where the lake can be used for activities such as canoeing and paddle boarding, so only a short distance to carry your equipment. Minimum stay is usually 2 nights, however in high season may be 3 night weekend or 4 night midweek stays. There is a 10% discount for stays 7 nights or longer. Guest access The lodge and decked area are entirely for sole use of guests. Other things to note Please remember the Lake District is a rural area. The holiday park can be reached by public transport however to explore the area fully a car is strongly advised. This will also make any trips for shopping easier as the shop on site is quite small with limited stock. The nearest railway station is Windermere and there are buses north (to Ambleside, Grasmere and beyond) and south (to Windermere, Bowness and Kendal) from the main road by the park entrance.
